This was our third holiday using Kerala Connections, which speaks volumes in itself.
Using the Kerala Connections website and Trevor and Diana’s advice on transit times, we created our own 10-day tour from Gitanjali Homestay in Karnataka, through Tamil Nadu ending at Marari Beach Resort in Kerala. It all worked like clockwork; the planning, their acquisition of eVisas and pre-departure literature (the individually-prepared Tour Information was particularly useful) filled us with confidence knowing that this was going to be another well-organised trip. The ground agents, Companion Holidays, met us on arrival and the drivers throughout were always punctual, safe, had good English and a great sense of humour. We used Homestays where they fitted our itinerary and are a unique experience – and not to be likened to an English B&B! We had separate accommodation but usually shared meals and social time with the family. My wife contracted suspected DVT on the flight out and our various hosts were very concerned that we should be seen by the local hospitals. The scans, medication and treatment we received was excellent; prompt, competent and very reassuring. This was such a comfort, knowing that we were safe among such friendly, caring, and competent people.
Actually, you get an early taste of that with Kerala Connections! I do hope that we will have the opportunity to use them again.

Our twenty day touring holiday to Kerala was brilliantly organised and ran like clockwork. Diana's in depth knowledge of Kerala enabled us to choose our flights, accommodation and activities with ease, and gave us a good balance of both town, country, hotels and homestays. Visa information and assistance was superb. The 'Tour Information' booklet was invaluable - something we have not had from other companies on previous holidays - so 'Congratulations' for that! Our driver, Sanil, was a delight and nothing was too much trouble for him. The 'on the ground' agents, 'Companion Holidays' were excellent, they provided us with a mobile phone for direct contact and all the activities and guides were well organised. One of our best decisions was to have two nights on a houseboat on the Backwaters, one night would not have been enough! All the local people we met were charming, friendly and helpful.
We highly recommend 'Kerala Connections' for their excellent service and attention to detail.
