My family and I had a wonderful day hiking in the moor with Geri and learning about the history of Dartmoor, the beautiful woodlands and the different types of mosses and ferns. Geri is very knowledgeable and engaging and we all had a lovely time. Geri also shared a beautiful route for us to hike on our own the day after, which was amazing! We would highly recommend Geri if you are looking for a Dartmoor guide.

Our family spent a fabulous day on Dartmoor with Geri. She was an excellent guide. Friendly, informative and excellent with outr kids. It made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend a day (or more) on the Moors with Geri.

Geri tailored a walk for me, in my eighties and not with the best balance. As we walked on the moor she was full of information and is so knowledgeable about the area, its birds, and flowers. Our morning encompassed a visit to see a 1000 year old Yew tree in a nearby churchyard, a thatched longhouse, and finally the beautiful river at Dartmeet. It was a lovely opportunity which I could not have taken on my own. Geri is empathetic and understanding of less able walkers. I would definitely ask her again for another tour.

Hello Geri
Thank you so much for the wonderful walk and education on ferns and mosses. I found it totally fascinating made even more special buy the bluebells and the rivers we pasted along the way. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in nature.
