We hired the Jimny camper back at the end of June and we couldn't have had a better time! Tris has set the vehicle up with everything you could possibly need and the layout has been very well thought-out. Collection and drop off in Penrith was seamless, allowing us to make the most out of our weekend. The jimny itself was perfect for the two of us and the tent had more than enough room. Couldn't recommend hiring from Tris enough!

Can’t recommend enough: Amazing car; Completely geared out for any off-grid adventure; Great service by Tristan.

We came by ferry from the Netherlands and Tristan dropped the car off for us at the pier. We hopped on, and delivered it back to him a week later in exactly the same spot. Couldn’t have been easier.

(A Land Rover is on the tiny side for people around two meters tall, but obviously Fieldtrip cannot do much about that).

Absolutely amazing ! First time visiting the Lakes, fieldtripsupplies has everything you need for real adventure . I can’t speak highly enough of Tristan he made the entire experience fantastic, he was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to address all my questions and give me lots of helpful recommendations for planning this trip . I booked field trip land rover camper hire after seeing it on instagram , and I cannot recommend this highly enough .
I arranged it for my boyfriend’s birthday surprise and Tristan even sent a lego defender to wrap up for him on the day , as the trip was after his birthday .
When we collected the defender , I realised what an amazing trip this was going to be . Absolutely everything you could possibly need is thought of . Everything is immaculate , the defender was extremely clean and shiny inside and out .
We drove to Yorkshire in it , and slept in it for 3 nights . The tent is incredibly comfortable , sleeping under the stars was really relaxing , driving the defender was great .
I absolutely would book this for your next adventure , the possiblities are endless . But beware , the defender was so wonderful , we came back and bought one !

So happy I came across this when looking for a get away with my husband for our anniversary! Tristan is so helpful and nothing is to much trouble! He answered questions before the trip, during and after for peace of mind and replied very quickly plus he sorts everything out for you.

We chose to use the defender and it held its expectations and more! Even the quality of everything you get included ( which is everything you could possibly need!) is very high end and everything is thought out for convenience so you can just enjoy your trip!

Now our children want to come with us next time so will be booking with him again soon!

Tris and the Jimny exceeded all expectations when we toured around the Lake District and Scottish Highlands for a week in autumn. The Jimny is in excellent condition, easy to drive and a real head turner!
The stand out for me was the quality of camping equipment that is provided for the trip. Everything from the roof tent, to the spoons were of the highest standard. We were cosy and dry in the roof tent and loved relaxing under the awning in the evenings with the fire pit going.
Tris himself is an excellent host. Pick up was a breeze, there was safe storage for our vehicle and Tris was always easily contactable should any issues arise (non did!)
I highly recommend the Jimny for anyone looking to travel around the UK in something a bit different and very fun!

The Landrover was immaculately clean and supplied with every piece of quality equipment you might need for off road camping, from firewood to fairy lights, OS maps to a well stocked kitchen unit. We were really impressed with the space and comfort of the rooftop tent and along with the side awning, both were super sturdy during a blustery night. We couldn’t fault Tristan’s attention to detail and customer service, from making our booking to offers of help finding locations to camp or special places to visit, the set up of the Landrover as well as lots of information on the set up of the equipment. 5 stars all round for Fieldtrip Supplies, recommended to anyone wanting a unique camping experience.

Renting the Jimny from Field Trip Supplies for a weekend camping with my son was brilliant fun and made camping so easy. The tent was set up in minutes (literally) and as it came equipped with all top of the range encamping equipment I didn’t have to think of anything. Great idea and will definitely use again
