Excellent. Driver arrived promptly. I am agoraphobic, so the drivers pleasant manner made me feel comfortable. He was a very good driver and got me to my destination on time. I had the same driver on the way back. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Pre-booked a taxi for 12:15am over 24 hours before it was needed. No sign of them at 12:16am so I called to find out where they were and was informed that it would be another 20 minutes. 25 minutes later the taxi turned up. When I asked the person on the phone if they could offer some form of compensation for having to wait outside in the cold, wind and rain, I was told “that isn’t the way it works!” Why not Terrible customer service. No point in pre-booking if they don’t show up. Oh, and to top it off the fare itself was £32.80 and not the estimated price of £28.50. Probably a way of getting the booking in the first place as they can hide behind the fact that it’s only an estimated price. The least they could have done was honour the estimated price given the delay. I won’t be using them again and I definitely wouldn’t rely on Lynx taxis if you absolutely need to get somewhere for a set time.

Excellent taxi to Manchester airport & our return 2 weeks later. We just phoned after collection of our luggage at Manchester T2 & told taxi would be with us in 3 minutes. Received a text of our taxi reg & home we went.

UPDATE - Look at the response, it speaks volumes - proves they dont even read the review and take in what's written!! - A friends birthday surprise, we booked a taxi online 10 hours prior to collection to get us to the venue prior to their arrival - text received 10 minutes before collection its been dispatched - tracker not showing where driver is. At time of pick up the driver is now on tracker and he's 13 minutes away. Rang the office - told 'oh ignore that, its Ramadan that's why he's late, he's only 7 minutes away and dont use the online form, always ring up and book its easier and we would have ensured it was on time - 7 minutes later tracker shows 8 minutes away - ring office - the previous staff member shouldnt have told you that, Ill get someone to you asap urgent. Driver turns up 18 minutes late - I ask has the office rang you, he said no I am another driver (if they've not rang how does he know he's another driver? - even though it was the same reg as the original driver - as we got in he had also broken wind because the taxi stank, so had to travel with windows down - we got there 15 minutes after our friends arrival to be surprised by our other friends. Complaint email goes in and they said collection was within their tolerance and next time book 40 minutes in advance when Ramadan is on! Is that what we have become - to NOT use technology and to check on religious festivals before booking - highly inconvenient and will NOT be using this excuse of a company again!! BTW they offered £10 as an apology on a £21.80 trip - acceptable? No! It wasnt a refund, it was off a future trip - so they give then take away as they still make money!! Be aware. This is EXACTLY what happened so any retort will be damage limitation by them!

Wouldn’t even give one star if I didn’t have to. Pre-booked a taxi, had to move time forward so called up previous evening to do so. Guy on switchboard clearly didn’t make the change, called when a taxi didn’t show after 10 and was told they’d be there in 5-10 mins, then called again after another 10 minutes and was told the same. Baring in mind it was an 8am pick up, I don’t think being too busy is an excuse.
