I haven't lived here, but I walk my dog every day passing through the area. The facilities seem well maintained and the people living there seem pretty happy. One of the appealing advantages is its proximity to the beach, but the place seems a bit crowded with all the lodges close to one another.

What a lovely site, very clean shower blocks infact one of the cleanest places we have been to. |Needed to pay £20 deposit to get a key fob to shower block but well worth it and you get your £20 back at the end. |Was so close to the beach able to watch the sunset spectacular! The owners of this site were lovely very friendly and very informative of the local area. There was a field at the back of the site which i was able to take my dog on neeeded to be on the lead which was fine by me. Spar shop down the road, chip shop close by. I can honestly say we had the best weekend. What more do you need? We had a really chilled out weekend and we will be back.

I was very impressed with the standards of this site. This site is at the upper end of our budget for short stays but was well worth it. The site is dry, clean and well maintained. You can easily see that the owner has invested significantly in the site facilities. The touring pitch we stayed on was full service (which i believe they all are) which made the price surprisingly low compared to other sites.
The site is immediately on the coast with a short walk through the site, though a pedestrian access gate and you are there on the beach. When the tide is in the beach is a pebble/stone affair but when the tide is out there is flat dry sand (a little muddy but that is Morecambe bay for you).
A short walk south along the coast brings you to Hestbank where there is a cafe on the beach car-park, some take-aways on the main road and up the hill a little way is a very good pub on the canal (which is also very pleasant).
For cyclists there is a national cycle route on the nearby canal and a regional route on the main road into Morecambe that is on the road until the Morecambe seafront. The seafront at Morecambe is great for cycling and strolling along with plenty of attractions as you would expect for a seaside resort.
The owner is extremely helpful for his guests. To the point he took 30minutes out of his schedule to dig up a set of electrical testers for me when i had an issue on my van. For this i thank him emphatically.
In Summary I doubt you will be disappointed visiting this park.

Gorgeously well maintained caravan park. The family who own Morecambe Lodge are welcoming, friendly, approachable and extremely hard working. The park is on the bay therefore yards from the sea. The views are stunningly beautiful. Close to so many bars, cafes and attractions. This place has the wow factor and it’s a joy to come here most weekends.

We stayed at the lodge for a little getaway in October. It's a lovely quiet spot outside of Morecambe and within easy reach of the beach. It was cold but with bright blue skies and we loved our walk along the prom finished off with afternoon tea in the Midland Hotel. ||||The lodge provided everything we needed for a cosy stay including a gas fire and wifi. It was a lovely place to chill out and relax!

A nice touring park with about 30 super pitches. These incorporate water, drainage, electric hook up, tv hook up, hardstanding + grass pitch for the awning. The site is reasonably quiet, apart from the railway line that runs alongside it. Having said that, after a day or two, even those fade into the background noises. The site is only 30 metres from the sea, so if you like, you could walk all the way to Morecambe along the coastline. We will be going there again. A lovely place to stay
