We stayed the night in our Campervan on the campsite then had breakfast here. Great night…. Beautifully quiet and the views across the bay are spectacular… get lucky like we did and you’ll be treated to a spectacular sunset 🌅

Lovely campsite with stunning views across the bay. There is a gentle grass slope so you might need levellers although I didn’t bother. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. the facilities were tidy and clean. Beautiful dog walks. So peaceful. All you can hear is the baby lambs in the next field which were a joy to watch.

Ii was in a 6 meter campervan. There is a very tight turn into the lane that leads to the campsite which is single track. Red bank farm is a working farm and it is a tight squeeze navigating between the farm buildings to reach the camping field. There were 7 meter motorhomes so it’s doable. I took a wrong turn which didn’t help but I made it. The peacefulness and views were worth it.

I didn’t use the cafe I will next time I visit.

I would stay here again. Highly recommend.

We stopped for lunch and play along the beach. Really busy as August and had to wait over half an hour for table but the food was so worth the wait. Kids ordered fish and chips and you could tell it was beautifully freshly fried with lovely homemade tartar sauce. We had burgers topped with pork belly lovely too, but homemade beef brisket was the best of the three.

Just returned from a couple of days camping. The site is excellent, the grass is kept beautiful. There are a number if options for camping, with or without EDH. You could take your pick where you wished to make camp. There were hardstanding available overlooking the bay. Toilet facilities were very clean. Showers were got but was a push button system which is difficult when trying to wash your hair.
Waste disposal and water supply.
Local pub near by the royal hotel, food is excellent and dog friendly. Lovely walks along the bay. Walked into Carnforth took 1 hour.
Will defo go back.
Didn't use the cafe but it looked nice.
Reasonable rates to camp.

Great campsite with sea views. Caravans/motorhomes and tents along with separate section for statics. Toilets clean but basic. Three showers each for male and female which were push button, not my fav, but did the job. Fabulous "cafe" on site which was more like a restaurant. The food was really lovely and at reasonable prices. I had a Salt marsh lamb Sunday roast which was beautiful and my other half had a burger, which was huge, We were both stuffed afterwards, but as usual, hubby managed a pudding, Lemon cheese cake which was also divine. If you don't come to camp, come for a dining experience, it's well worth it.

Ok for a weekend. Reception friendly but not that informative with being first time visitors. Location is nice and we walked 10m round trip to Carnforth and Hest Bank. Busy with lots of young familes. Sloping site but some terracing attempted for first dozen pitches. Facilities ok but would benefit from updating and having disabled/family cubicles. The push water taps on showers and sinks especially annoying, giving but seconds before going off again. The wc flushes also needed to be held for effective flush which most young children couldn't do, so I regularly had to flush after them.

Great value and a wonderful friendly reception. This is a great site with good facilities and plenty of space. We took our large motorhome here for the first time and had a lovely comfortable stay. The site is beautifully located beside the beach and on a farm (complete with animals and cafe!)

The hook up pitches are on grass but were well matted so we had absolutely no issues with pulling in or out.

We really enjoyed the fresh air, views and friendly faces.

Shower and toilet facilities are close to the pitches and well looked after.
