We come to Eastbourne every year, this year it's chaotic, roads closed,so access to Hotel very difficult, parked long way away being in our 70's and one in a wheelchair it was agony making two trips to fetch cases and to think I have to do it again when we leave doesn't bear thinking about yet it's put a cloud over our Holiday to think we're now stuck close to the Hotel unable to use our car for trips Definitely have to think twice before we come again. Very disappointed.

Excellent Eastbourne Visitor Centre. Kind, helpful staff. Lots of interesting small gifts for sale. Always a nice smile and you are so well looked after during your visit. Magazines, books available and other interesting items about what's on at the theatres, galleries and the local area in general! Lovely coffee and cake at the DQ Cafe in the same building! 👍☕🎂🙂 Perfect!

Helpful staff can not detract from its terrible location (needs to be nearer the station). However the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and the shop contains some items looking for last minute souvenirs. If you are new to Eastbourne this is a handy port of call.

Professional staff but very cold towards certain types of customers/clients especially if you don't fit what the (old) ladies running the place consider to be norm. Perhaps, their staff attitude towards some members of the public perfectly represent the negative image some people have of Eastbourne.

Staff very friendly and helpful, be sure to get your free parking permit for local parks if you're a resident, also partial payment off to activities in Sovereign fitness/gym, worth spending time and looking around.

I have unfortunately bought a Southern rail group ticket called Day save from them for a day out in London but we now have the rail strike and so cannot use the ticket (last return train at 6pm) but I have theatre tickets for London at 7.45pm.
They will not refund any money just say go to Eastbourne station, who have been amazingly helpful but send me back to the tourist office as I bought the tickets there.
The tourist information office keep saying the ticket says no refunds!!!! I haven't changed my plans the service I bought a ticket for from them is no longer available. Surely legally they are responsible for what they sell.
Avoid these offers, a online train ticket is much cheaper in the long run.
