It is difficult to write a review to do justice to and fully reflect the incredible assistance and attention received from Charlie Johnson at Evans Halshaw Shiremoor, but suffice to say my experience of buying a used car undoubtedly stands out as being the most positive in over 30 years of buying new and used cars.

The condition of the vehicle itself is outstanding and the preparation for sale was meticulous. The car was exactly as described and more.

The help, support and level of contact and information provided by Charlie Johnson during the sales process was extremely detailed, highly personable and went above and beyond in every aspect involved including videos, photographs, telephone conversations and e-mails.

Extremely Poor customer service from Sales. Very helpful when selling a car, non existent & dismissive when bought car was repeatedly defective. Take the warranty, sold me an absolute bag of spanners - I wouldn’t recommend to anyone … very sub standard experience from the sales team! Service team however were decent when used

I have just picked up my new car from Shiremoor Evan’s Halshaw. I was really pleased with the service , in particularly Paul. He was quick to respond to any questions, providing videos of the car and since I was buying the car from Scotland I needed to feel confident about what I was going for. His manner was professional , friendly and efficient but in no way pushy . He had just the right combination in his manner and even helped me fill up my car ready for the long journey North . Just bought a used vauxhall insignia from Evans Halshaw and I have to say what an amazing deal I got.
The sales assistant Paul hickson was great what a friendly guy he talked me through the sale explaining everything clearly to me even taxing the new car online there and then for me.
Paul's friendly outgoing personality was a refreshing change from the normal usual sales pitch you might expect from less reputable dealers.
This combined with a great part exchange for my old car sinched the deal.
