I had a fabulous time in this 30-minute scenic boat trip. I missed it the first time I went to Saltaire but was glad that I tried it on my second time. The couple running things was very personable. Highly recommended!

Our favourite part of a lovely day visiting Saltaire. The man in charge of the boat was really helpful and friendly, giving us a little bit of history of the canal and being very easy-going about us having two labradors with us. The boats are dog-friendly but only have seating for 12 people, so really big dogs wouldn't fit, plus your dog needs to be fairly confident about getting on board or be able to be carried. The trip was about 45 minutes, costing £4 per person, which I thought was decent value. The canal at this point is really healthy and supports wildlife, so we saw a kingfisher, which was a real highlight. They also sell duck food cheaply on board so the kids were happily occupied with that.

Was in Saltaire in August on a pre-birthday train trip. Stumbled across this delightful canal boat ride, £5 per person for 30mins, it was fab. Was offered an onboard upgrade, tea or coffee with biscuits for an extra £1 by the wonderful crew. Yes please! Our four legged pal was also very welcome, he loved it! Highly recommended.

Tony (the Skipper) is a lovely guy, and gives you some great information on the canal half way through the trip. For the rest of the time, you can just sit and enjoy the views as you cruise peacefully down the canal. It's nice to see things from a different point of view, and is thoroughly enjoyable - as well as a bargain at only £4 each! It's very easy to book over email, which is necessary at the moment due to coronavirus. Tony responded quite late at night for me, and even sent an email the day after hoping that we had a good time and wishing us well! A very nice touch

Turned up today at 11:00 and waited with a very excited four year old ....someone arrived and got on the boat, we waited ! After a while I asked him if he was running, he mumbled something about rain ( hardly any really) then said maybe he would be going, by this time my grandson was tearful ...on seeing this he said maybe half an hour ...the board was put out and it said 12:15 we moved the car so we didn’t get a ticket returned and the sign had changed to 2:30! ..... so no trip ! Very disappointed little boy ........They really need to decide if they are offering a service or not. Perhaps learn a bit about customer relations.
