The rooms were very clean, warm and welcoming. Well thought out lighting, fluffy towels and lovely soaps, lotions available. TV, hairdryer and plenty of tea, coffee, etc. Only needed to ask down at reception for top ups. Breakfast excellent and plentiful. Reception and restaurant staff were so helpful.

Only given a 4 for rooms because, for me, the mattress was a bit too firm and the pillows not "fluffy" enough but that may be exactly what you require.

Would definitely book here again if I was in the area.

Had a lovely walk down to the "Wool Pack" (of Emmerdale fame).

We held an event for 60 people here over the course of 5 days and I cannot rave enough about this hotel and the staff who work there. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, the food is absolutely incredible, it has wonderful spa and gym facilities and the staff just went above and beyond for us all week. We made multiple changes to our requirements during our stay but nothing was too much trouble, I would recommend this place for both business and leisure stays 100%. Special thanks to Kristy (Events office), Joanne & Cassie (live event staff), Suzanne (reception) and the Head Chef who were all such a huge help to us and the most lovely team to work with. We will see you again!!

For £110 a night, we had hoped for a more comfortable experience, but there were both positives and negatives. On the positive side, the hotel is housed in a lovely building surrounded by gorgeous grounds, which made for a pleasant setting. The staff were polite and welcoming, which we really appreciated.||However, the rooms were too warm, and despite our efforts, we couldn’t cool them down. The constant dripping tap disrupted our sleep, and the coffee selection—limited to decaf—was disappointing. At this price point, we expected more attention to detail and a more refined experience overall.

Check in was a little troublesome with details of our booking being missed and therefore they tried to add surcharges despite the booking being made 6 months ago.|Room was clean and fresh with lovely comfy beds.|Booked for lunch but the carvery ran out of beef before our table had eaten so our meal was delayed. Apart from that, food was hot and plentiful.|Both bars we drank in had polite and profession staff although the TV bar was shut at 4pm due to staffing issues.|My family used the pool and sauna area and stated it was amazing.|The evening entertainment ,Emma, was brilliant and encouraged participation. She truely was the highlight of our evening.|Only complaint for the night was a howling dog and barking all night which distressed my own dog.|All in all, a lovely hotel in beautiful grounds with excellent facilities marred by some tiny nibbles.

This hotel strives on doing as little as possible for its guests. No room service, no water in rooms, little refreshment facilities in room, hotel bar wasn’t opened once during our three night stay. We had dinner at hotel the first night and service and food underwhelming. The bedding not hotel quality and pillows were uncomfortable with runners on beds dirty and stained. This used to be a superb hotel when owned by Marriott, now it’s just basic and won’t be booking again.

This is a great hotel, staff, location, everything was great. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Pool and spa were great and ground beautiful. |Attention to detail was obvious.|We will definitely repeat and the prices are very fair.|The only two negatives were bad coffee at breakfast... Tastes like nasty instant, and, no temperature control in the room. The later wasn't too big if an issue but could be at the wrong time of year.|Even having said that we are already talking about another weekend there and have recommended it to a young couple for a wedding venue..

Fantastic hotel with lovely staff, great food and wonderful facilities. I enjoyed the pool and steam room and then the dinner and drinks in the bar.Nice walks around the golf course and easy to navigate the local area. All the staff were excellent and I'd happily return.

One of the best Christmas lunches we had at Hollins Hall, Bronte Suite, a private function room. Lovely setting.  Perfection.  Even the mince pies were warm.  We would definitely be back to dine/lunch again at Hollins Hall independently or as a party.     ||
