A beautiful place for a walk or a cycle. The whole place is spotlessly clean, there are lots of benches and picnic benches to bring your own picnic. The parking cost us £2.70 for 2 hours with a card payment machine located at the cafe and exit. There is a lovely cafe with breakfast and lunch items, coffees, cakes etc. There is bike hire, an inflatable waterpark and wakeboarding but we just went for a walk. The terrain is fairly flat and the path is mostly shingley. A lovely place to visit.

I came here first time with my family, although it was a very wet day it was still really nice to be in. Lots of things to do, lots of walking trails, ducks to feed, we could explore the whole park but will definitely be coming back when weather is better. We also went with friends who had their pets with them and it was pet friendly outdoors and in the cafe. Workers were very friendly. Overall a really good vibe.

Stayed at Waleswood Caravan Park and pedalled DOWN to Valley Country Park. Really nice around the lake. Not going lie. Pushed the bike back up the hill. Obviously not as fit as I used to be but only a 10 to 15minute walk

Lakes, water sports, cycle hire … There is a hard surface all the way around both lakes. Parking and cafe too. A miniature railway in season. A major leisure venue.

Lovely place even on a gray day. Been here a couple of times now, mostly just to take in the scenery and to enjoy the walk. For the most part the paths are nice and dry, but some parts get muddy with rain and end up slippery - so appropriate footwear is a must. It might be worth noting that toilets are not accessible 24/7, so you might want to time your visit to be more during the earlier hours of the day.
