Absolutely love coming to Sherwood. Love the pines. Treated the kids to afternoon out to The Tree Top Challenge, recommend booking 👌🏼 it was half term so more busier. I did underestimate this ! 😅 deffo not scared of heights but it is high when your up there. Was great to do this together and abit of team work and encouragement. Lovely memories made 💖

We recently chose Go Ape Sherwood Pines to celebrate our son's 6th birthday, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The booking process was simple and straightforward, which made planning the day stress-free.

One thing to note is that we later found out we were eligible for a 10% discount because we were staying at the Sherwood Pines Campsite. Unfortunately, we missed out on this offer—not Go Ape's fault, but rather due to Forestry England being a bit slow to inform us. It would have been a nice bonus, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

On the day, every interaction with the Go Ape team was professional and polite, while still maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere. The safety briefing was superb—clear, thorough, and reassuring. There were plenty of staff around throughout the experience, always ready to help if needed, which made us feel confident and well looked after.

All in all, Go Ape Sherwood Pines provided a memorable birthday celebration for our son. We would highly recommend it to families looking for a fun and safe outdoor adventure. We’ll definitely be returning!

I took part in the Nets Adventure. Great fun for adults teens ands toddlers. You have a two slot to run around but after an hour we were all exhausted and soaked but we knew the weather going to be drizzly it dint spoil our fun.

Really lovely afternoon! Did the treetop challenge as a family of 5 (2 adults & 3 boys ages 15, 13 & 11) & it was a challenge! But great fun too! All in all took us 2.5 hours, including the extensive safety briefing. All the staff were really friendly & helpful. We left our small bag of belongings at the cabin which was very useful.
Water dispensers en route which was really handy to have a sip of water between obstacles. The zip lines were great! Even though we didn't always have the most elegant of landings! Definitely wear clothes you don't mind getting muddy or messed up.
Not cheap, but the family discount helped & I'd still definitely recommend it. Gorgeous setting too, wish we'd had time to do more, Hiking & cycling in the forest must be lovely! Hope we'll be back one day!

fantastic couple of hours we had today doing the newer tougher Challenge plus course. although i came away with some wounds when the course fought back, it’s been our most enjoyable one yet! right from the off, the staff were super friendly and nothing was too much bother. the pretty one on the reception desk (with the blue hair) was fantastic, give her a raise!😉 then the 2 guys fitting the harness’s ran through everything clearly and quickly to get us on our way. would recommend doing the challenge plus course if you like a bit more of a challenge than the others, and Sherwood is a great place to visit.

Incredibly good fun, but so ridiculously expensive, it puts it beyond the reach of most families with kids. Would have given an extra star if prices were fairer. They do have lots of concessions available (e.g. blue light card gives 15% discount if I recall correctly). But still the best part of £100 for an adult and a 10 year old child on their challenge plus offer.

A great day out. The staff are great, very friendly and professional. We did the adventure plus course of X3 loops going from easy to hard. They were all good fun and even my 9 year old was able to complete all 3 levels with some help on the final loop. Would highly recommend. We paid approx £100 for 2 adults and a child with a medal, goodie bag and gloves for the little one.
