We had a truly exceptional experience with Black Tomato!

I can confidently say that our recent journey with Black Tomato was one of the most extraordinary vacations we’ve ever had! Traveling with four people through Spain, Portugal, and Morocco could have been a logistical challenge, but Black Tomato made it seamless and magical from start to finish.

Every detail was meticulously planned, and everything—transfers, tours, accommodations—was executed flawlessly. We moved to a different city every few days, yet the trip felt effortless because of the care and expertise of the Black Tomato team.

Our tour guides were simply exceptional. Each was a true expert in their respective city, sharing fascinating insights with a warm and personable approach that made us feel instantly connected. Their kindness and professionalism were unparalleled.

From the moment we arrived until the time we departed, we were treated like VIPs. The hotel selections were perfect, each offering luxurious comfort and a unique flavor of the region. Having a local contact in each city was invaluable—they were always available to answer questions or help us make last-minute adjustments to the schedule.

This trip has set the bar impossibly high thanks to Black Tomato’s incredible attention to detail and ability to create such a seamless, personalized experience. We’re already looking forward to booking our next adventure with them!

This was our first time using a travel company to create a trip itinerary, and we absolutely loved it. Black Tomato built us a beautiful 10-day trip to South Africa that totally changed our lives. The hotel and safari lodges our agent chose were top-notch, exactly what we were looking for. He also set us up with excellent guides and took care of all our inner-country travel. He was always an email away, but we honestly were able to figure out most things through the Black Tomato app, where every detail of our trip was located. Our experience w/Black Tomato was nothing less than spectacular! We crafted a 5-week trip to India with their help and every bit of planning made in advance prior to the trip came to life on the ground during the trip.

In retrospect, that was because all BT advisors and planners with whom we spoke listened very carefully and thoughtfully to what we wished our trip to be. And then following up on that everyone with whom we worked made sure all details were covered and, further , that we understood exactly how.

From the moment we arrived in India to the moment we left nothing was left to chance and everything was planned so we could maximize the quality of our experience and minimize behind-the-scene details and logistics. And when the invariable, but few, snafus occurred, the 24-hr BT emergency hot line was everything one would hope for. Not that our snafus were large or difficult but rather BT simply made sure they were resolved, literally, in realtime, so our entire journey went as planned.

At the same time my wife and I had a some special dietary requests that required supervision and some cultural events we wanted to experience that weren’t on what we would imagine as a “usual” track. And all of those special things that we requested unfolded perfectly.

What became apparent as we traveled,always and at each destination, was BT had extremely resourceful partners on the ground in India. And nothing was left to chance.

We’ve since recommended BT to other family members and close friends. And we look forward to planning out future travels with BT. Yes, they are THAT good at what they do and BT really cares, cheerfully annd thoughtfully, about the quality of the experience they provide to clients.

Absolutely amazing experience!! Unforgettable!!
I travelled solo to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos with Black Tomato and I cannot say enough wonderful things. From the first planning phone call to the welcome letter at my first hotel the entire process was seamless! It is worth every penny!! I have used other travel companies in the past and nothing compares to Black Tomato. Their attention to detail is just incredible and my trip was everything I imagined and more!! Every activity was planned to perfection and the hotels were amazing. Each English speaking guide was so friendly, welcoming, and made my experience so enjoyable and fun! The Black Tomato team did an outstanding job planning, arranging and executing my family's trip to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam in December 2024. We stayed at amazing properties, had extraordinary in-country guides who shared insights about local life, history and culture, learned a lot and had a great deal of fun. Black Tomato provides a high-touch, white-glove travel experience (which is not inexpensive), but they worked within the budget provided, and my family and I had an awesome experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Morocco Storybook Tour with Black Tomato. They did a tremendous job of melding fascinating, luxurious travel with an intricate storybook tale for our children that took us from the Medina of Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains and into the depths of the Sahara.
