We (myself and Molly the dog) went to Teddy's Retreat in the first week of October and had a great time. The cottage is really cosy and welcoming and ideal for holidaying with the dog as the garden is safe and there are walks around it across the fields. North Norfolk is very dog friendly and many interesting places and dog friendly eateries are within a short drive of the cottage. I am sure that we will return for another holiday in the future

Great cottage. Everything in good order, spotlessly clean. Pretty enclosed garden. Great location, within easy drive to fab parks and beaches. Our dog and us were all really tired after so much great walking and adventures. We will be back!!

What a wonderful week at Teddy’s! We were blessed with fantastic weather, albeit it windy on some days! The house is cosy and the games room was a hit with the kids! Lots of board games to play in the evenings and good selection of books/dvds to use also!

We visited several different beaches, the favourite being Holkham (quite a long walk from the car to the dog friendly area, but definitely worth it!). Delicious food at The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe - worth a visit! We also visited the Langham Dome and had a fascinating hour or so learning all about its role in the 2nd World War. So many gorgeous places to visit still! Smudge, the dog, also had a blast!!! Can’t wait to come back and explore some more! Thank you!

We had a lovely time at Teddy’s retreat with our two little dogs. The cottage is very homely and the garden was lovely for the dogs and us to sit in. Such a lovely array of birds singing too! We would definitely recommend this property.

Nice cottage in a very quiet location and very dog friendly. We stayed for a week and found the cottage to be comfortable and the kitchen to be very well equipped. Staying away from home with the dogs can be quite stressful if the accommodation is too precious. Here there were no carpets and sofas were covered with throws to allow the dogs to sit on them. There was a pleasant secure garden which meant the dogs could easily be let out. The games barn has a very nice table- football game and a small table tennis table.
The only downside for me was the bath (there is no shower but this was stated in the information) which is claw footed and roll topped, quite short, narrow and deep. I don't have any disabilities and have no problems getting in and out of the bath at home but found this a little disconcerting. There was a photo, when we booked, of one of those shower head attachments on the bath but this has been removed, I imagine because there would be too much chance of water spraying onto the floor which is mostly painted floorboards.

I have had a wonderful time in Holt in this beautiful cottage. It is a very cozy and comfortable house with every thing you need for a nice holiday. I loved the village of Holt and the beautiful surroundings. I visited old houses, sheringham park and the seaside. People were so friendly and helpful, really nice!
