Had a very enjoyable evening meal in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. On arrival we were meet by the owner (lovely friendly lady) and shown to the lounge, we ordered a drink and warmed up in front of a inviting wood burner. While having our drinks we made our choices from the menu, when our meal was ready to be served we were shown to our table in the dinning room. You could see the staff in the kitchen and could appreciate the work being put into each meal, food was excellent. There was no rush to get you out, after the meal we returned to the lounge for a coffee and chat with some of the hotel guests. The evening was more than just a meal and the owner and staff go out of there way to make it an experience, we were made to feel that we were more than just dinner guests. Thanks to everyone, we will return.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch (dining as non-residents) at this stylish and comfortable small hotel near the Sheringham sea front. All three courses were beautifully cooked and presented, and very tasty. There is a good selection of wines (including champagne available by the glass - always a good thing). The hosts and their staff are welcoming and attentive. All in all - a gem, highly recommended.

We were greeted and invited into a beautiful lounge with a big comfy sofa and chairs in front of an open fire. Drinks were served, and our orders were taken for Sunday dinner. When our starters were ready, we were taken into a lovely dining area where we had a delicious Sunday roast (our party had pork with amazing crisp crackling and beautifully tender beef). The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was delicious. After dinner, we had not quite finished our bottle of wine and retreated to the longe to finish it at our leisure. A wonderful Sunday lunch experience.

Stayed in Old Vic that we have stayed in before. Plenty of wardrobe space, nicely decorated, clean, comfortable beds, good facilities in room, shower good and towels large and thick! Can't personally think of anything that would have improved our stay. We will return. well done and keep up the great work.

Very enjoyable stay at the hotel - our room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast and dinner were both very good, with a wide choice of cooked breakfasts and excellent dinner menu. Friendly welcome and support throughout our stay. Within easy walking distance of Sheringham town centre and good base to explore the delights of North Norfolk. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

We had two nights here|Our room was lovely, well appointed and spacious.|The addition of tissues in the bathroom is needed|No sign of the flapjack mentioned in so many reviews.|Heating went off in the afternoon and our room became cold.|Situation is good close to beaches and town centre.|We weren’t able to eat dinner here as the restaurant was booked out on both nights for private parties. Understand that running a business you need to get your money in but some consideration on this point would have made life easier.|There is a lovely lounge area but this does not seem to always be available to house guests.|Breakfast was not up to standard- not all menu options were available, no fresh fruit but they did organise some prunes for our second morning which was appreciated. Bacon was over cooked .|It is evident that investment has been made to this property but in our opinion it is overpriced and does not represent value for money.

We stayed here for two nights and we cannot fault the hotel. From the very warm welcome to the great rooms. We stayed in the Aldwych - spotlessly clean and well equipped. Excellent breakfast too, all cooked to order. Good size car park and plenty of space on the road too.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. A real gem immaculately turned out that you won't be disappointed. Staff wonderful nothing too much trouble a home from home. The food was great and highly recommend a visit. I am looking forward to a return visit.
