It had been a long time since I had visited, and there have been a lot of changes and not all of them good. It's lost the special individuality that it had before and is now more mundane, and its character has been lost. Some of the places are still there, but it's no longer a place that draws you in. The beach is still lovely, but it's less the Sheringham I loved and more Clacton aimed at grabbing your attention by being in your face

A Greater Anglia single platform station running services to Norwich.

All you'll find here is a ticket machine and some benches open to the elements.

Sheringham beach is a few minutes walk away, and you'll find a nice cafe at the North Norfolk Railway station next door.

I don't know what I'd do without this station, regardless of the customer experience haha! However I wanted to leave a review as every staff member I have ever interacted with while departing or arriving on this train lane has been excellent. 5 stars.

Lovely old fashion and busy seaside town with lots of places to grab a bite to eat. All the shops are in close proximity to each other and it’s all lovely and clean. There is a huge open air car park which isn’t cheap and it’s still full priced for blue badge holders.

Really nice to see steam engine !!
Didn't go on as wanted to spend day in the town.good tea and sausage roll in cafe.all staff polite ans smiling.
Town busy.but able to keep our distance.we still wear masks lot not wearing them.
Nice good price meal to robin hood pub.
Glad awful tatty building down by the sea has been demolished at last.

A lovely seaside town and a must visit if you're on holiday in Norfolk. You'll find some great shops, a good choice of cafés and tea shops, a wonderful Little Theatre and best of all, the historic railway station with their great collection of trains. The highlight of the year is undoubtedly the 1940's weekend and there are other great events like the Crab and Lobster Festival.
