We have just returned from another fabulous week with Holiday at Home. This time we were at Shearing Shed, Gayles Farm.
The standard and quality of accommodation is exemplary.
The kitchen, dining room, games room were spacious and beautifully decorated.
The bedrooms, including the quality of bedding and towels were excellent.
We loved the hot tub and especially enjoyed the BBQ hut. Most of all we enjoyed the setting and the overall high standard of all aspects of our stay.
Holiday at Home staff are considerate, approachable and professional. We are already booked in for next year - can’t wait.

We are just home after a wonderful weekend at Woodcroft Cottage. The house is beautifully furnished and so warm and comfortable. A great base to explore the Dales and surrounding area and the pub in the village does a lovely Sunday roast.

Perfect stay at Brompton lakes, saddened by the trolls that appear to have left reviews 1/5 and 3/5, perhaps competitors? There is absolutely nothing that isn’t 6/5 at Brompton, beautiful location, quiet, spotless, gorgeous lodges with everything taken care of, thank you Yorkshire Vet for the recommendation during the commercial break....it was everything you said it would be and more. Our two boxer dogs also LOVED it looking forward to seeing you again in June. Cannot wait to be a loyalty card member!

Just had another fabulous weekend with friends in Shorthorn, Greenbank Barnes. Excellent accommodation, cleanliness and location. Jacuzzi hot tub is far superior since it has been changed from the previous non jacuzzi style. Would highly recommend

Lovely cottage. Everything we needed. So clean. Bonus 2 ensuite bedrooms which french doors to the patio area great for after using the hot tube. Lovely big garden. Idea if you're bringing a dog.

We stayed at 30 frenchgate. Beautiful house. Great views. Lovely and clean. Nice welcome basket. Comfortable beds soft bedding and fluffy towels. House took a lot to keep warm. Only downside was we couldn't use hot tub until Sunday morning due to taking ages to heat up. We were leaving the same day. Would defo return

We have just returned from a few days break at Brompton Lakes near Richmond, a beautiful place in a magnificent setting.
We stayed in Iris lodge which we loved!
From booking until leaving the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Iris lodge was spotless. The cleanest place we have ever stayed in.
It was in a perfect spot and we even got the evening sunshine.
The fabulous glass frontage brought the outside in and the grassed roof is otherworldly and perfection itself.
Attention to detail was amazing. Simplicity, yet grandeur at the same time.
We came to Brompton with our daughter and her best friends for an 18th birthday treat and bbq with visiting family. We of course brought Seb our border collie too. I can tell you that they were all very impressed including the dog!
We loved the organic bath products and the eco friendly ethics which are in place at Brompton Lakes.
The beds were sooo comfy and the linens and towels second to none.
We had a wonderful welcome pack with beautiful goods in it. We even had great Wi-Fi and Netflix. I enjoyed using the dishwasher too and the chopping boards were pristine, as was everything else.
The river was a stone's throw from our lodge and the walkways surrounded by trees and adorable wildlife were everywhere.
This is a calm place to de stress and realise just what is important in life, while you sip tea, cocktails or a cool beer on the decked verandah, taking in the serenity of the outside space.
The living area is fabulous and we had every single thing we needed and more.
No skimping at Brompton. Lakes.
We were touched by the complimentary bike hire and tennis and had an enjoyable treat in the sauna and hot tub.
There are so many holiday firms out there who are only out to make money, this family run firm isn't like that. I think this beautiful little paradise, a tiny piece of heaven on earth has been built on love with much thought and respect for the people who visit and stay there.
I would and will recommend Brompton Lakes to everyone.
We loved it and had the most wonderful time.
