I found online that we could spend the night here in our campervan. For £5 from 6pm till 9am it is located just minutes from the town, pubs and restaurants and the honesty public toilet stays open all night too. It's quiet well lit. We felt secure.

I visited Ingleton for some trail walking and, since the buses conveniently stop right outside, went to check the tourist information here. They have a selection of free simple maps of the popular routes and also a selection of more professional maps of Yorkshire Dales to buy. Very nice people running the place.

Beautiful little town at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There are plenty of adventures in and around town and the town usually has some sort of activity going on. This weekend they are hosting a 1940's weekend and there was a lot going on. Nearby trails offer adventures into the Dales park for some amazing views.

Excellent tourist information point with lots of free and paid for brochures and guides. Very nice staff. But they don't take plastic, only cash, so only 4*.

Fantastic walk along the waterfall route. Worth the cost. Recommend good walking shoes as the path is uneven and rocky in places.

Ingleton village library, tourist information, and general location for most village events. The pantomime Is always great and the building a real asset to the village
