Daughter and her grandad (father-in-law 61 yrs old) did this today and couldn't rate it any higher.

The instructor from beginning to end, had a laugh with all who went giving them the history of the coastline, all jumping off at certain points and climbing across and through the coast at Howick, Northumberland which from the coastal path is beautiful.

All visible by ourselves from the coastal path at Howick for those like myself who don't fancy it but want to see the action unfold.

All wet suits provided by the organisers. (If you go make sure you take an old pair of trainers you don't mind getting wet)

Our daughter is 13 yrs old and has said it's one of the best things she has ever done.

The waters are not warm obviously it's Northumberland, the confidence and enjoyment she got out of it was massive, she's asked if we have a chance to book her on again for another 3 hour session whilst we are here.

Just back from coasteering with my daughter and father in law. A great day out for three generations of sea lovers. Still buzzing. We were lucky enough to have great weather ☀️ and the see a pod of dolphins 🐬 off the coast! Eliza and Richard were really lovely, with interesting facts about the local area. They bent over backwards to look after us. Thanks for the photos Eliza. I will be back.

KA Adventures: Thrilling Coasteering & Paddleboarding in Northumberland!

Our group of 16 recently had an absolute blast with KA Adventures, experiencing the best of coasteering and paddleboarding along the stunning Northumberland coast. From the moment we arrived (even though we came late) , Amy, Eugenia, and Gill's enthusiasm and expertise shone through. They ensured everyone felt safe, comfortable, and excited for the experience.

The coasteering was thrilling, with rock climbing and refreshing jumps into the sea, all while taking in the dramatic coastal scenery. The paddleboarding was so fun too, got the whole group working together and getting used to the water.

We couldn't have asked for better guides. Amy, Eugenia were encouraging, and knowledgeable, ensuring everyone had a blast.

I wholeheartedly recommend KA Adventures to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure on the Northumberland coast. Their passion for the activity, combined with their commitment to safety and fun, makes for a truly exceptional experience. Coasteering is insane!

I was so nervous to try this, it turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ever done. I would highly recommend and will do it again. Jumping off cliffs into the North Sea really gets the adrenaline pumping!

KA Adventure Sports were well organised and friendly. I felt safe in their hands.

I went for a foiling lesson and it was excellent!! It was more than just a lesson, I felt included as part of a group of enthusiastic watersports folk, entirely safe. (with a rescue boat!) I received lots of advice and 1 to 1 demos when I was struggling.. Finished my first lesson able to do the basic wing control... Highly recommended and fun!

Coasteering at Howick was amazing, weather was beautiful.We were first timers and I was a bit nervous (being over 60) but need not have worried. You can do as much or a little as you like, I tried it all. Plunge pools, deep water diving, jumping and rock clambering. Highly recommend

Had an amazing time coasteering with my 10 and 12 year old boys. Kev and James were brilliant at making sure that everyone felt safe and included. They were knowledgeable and enthusiastic and managed to cater to teenagers, adults as well as some really pretty little kids. Good variety of swimming, jumping exploring kept us all occupied for a good 3 hours and the wetsuits provided kept us warm throughout.

Did a 2-hour coasteering lite trip purchased for me as a birthday present.

Our guide took us through the safety tips before we left for the beach and made we had our gear fitting correctly. Wetsuit, helmet and life vest are provided, you just need a pair of old trainers or similar for clambering on the rocks.

After heading down to the beach, we started with some basic trekking through the surf over partly covered rocks and made our way up to jumping off a 3m cliff into the sea.

Great fun and reasonable value at £40 per person. Highly recommended for the thrill seekers out there.
