An absolutely incredible bike tour experience in London! We were a group of three friends, and we couldn't have chosen better. The bikes were super comfortable, and the tour was perfectly planned. What really stood out was the depth of historical context provided throughout the journey - it wasn't just about seeing the sights, but truly understanding London's rich history. The guide are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. This tour offers excellent value for money, and I'm already planning to take their other tours on my next visit to London. We had a 5-day trip to London at the beginning of October and since London has so much to offer, I decided to join the Secret London Tour with BrakeAway Bike Tours. My husband initially thought it was a crazy idea to cycle through the city with our 2 boys (13 and 10 years old). However, our guide, Patrick, was very experienced and considerate. We mainly cycled along bike paths or quiet streets with minimal traffic, making it a very manageable experience (and I am far from being a good cyclist myself). This cycling tour turns out to be the highlight of our trip.

Patrick was very knowledgeable and he was a true local. He shows us many secret gems in London, each filled with fascinating history. It helps us to understand how London has evolved into the city it is today. Patrick told us the history in a very lively way. And even my little one, who is usually less interested in history, was captivated by the stories and remained attentive throughout the whole tour.

The organization of the tour was seamless. Chris reached out the day before to confirm that our bikes were the right size and to ensure we knew where to meet. They also provided helmets for safety.

Overall, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. It was an unforgettable experience that allowed us to explore London with a local who is so knowledgeable about the city. And as an added bonus, we even had the chance to cycle across the iconic Tower Bridge!

We loved this bike tour! We were only in London for a short time, so this was a great way to see all the major highlights, leaving us with more time to spend off the beaten path for the rest of our trip. Biking was fun and easy and our guide, Ollie, gave us a great tour! I will look up BrakeAway next time I'm in London for another tour!

My wife and I took the Secret London tour on September 9th. Ton of fun! Our guide Ollie took our group to places we would not have gone on our own, a couple we hadn't even been aware of but all of which were worthwhile and interesting. We learned a lot about London and had a blast doing it. Riding over the Tower Bridge was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

On the advice of friends who said this was the best thing they did in London last year, my family of four (kids aged 13 and 11) did the private family bike tour. Our friends were right. We had a great time! The bikes are comfortable, the ride safe and easy, the tour company very organized, and our guide Ollie was excellent. His energy and knowledge of London kept us and, on more than one occasion, some passersby (including Londoners) fully engaged for the full four hours. This is a great way to see London with or without kids. Would highly recommend.

Wow!!! What a great introduction to the city of London!! Our bike guide, Brendan, was not only entertaining and full of energy, but also very informative as he introduced us to some well-known attractions in London, but also filled in with the backstories that added a special spark to each location! Brendan’s excitement in his delivery of the information kept each location exciting for us as well! We especially loved seeing the old pub and how Londoners relax after work! I highly recommend this bike tour, and I hope you are lucky enough to get Brendan as your guide…simply the best!!❤️
