My daughter has been riding here for 4 years, 8-12 years old. Abby and the whole team are excellent - very caring, well trained and know how to work with a young rider. All the ponies are well looked after and ideal for learning to ride on, then to stretch yourself as you become more experienced. The facilities are well maintained and offer a wide variety of riding experiences. We couldn’t recommend Barton End enough, we love it and the people!

We truly have found a wonderful place in Barton End with Abbie and her team! They have been so welcoming and supportive for our daughter, especially in helping her feel safe and included. The care and dedication from the staff, like Sharon, have made a world of difference. The journey from Cirencester is well worth it for the sense of community and high-quality instruction we receive from Sophie Alistair and Karen.

Coming to this stables has had such a positive impact on our family!

Our 82 year old mum had a lesson today with the wonderful Abby and was lead by Anja. Both ladies were really welcoming and so attentive to mums needs. They were mindful of her age and geared the lesson accordingly bearing in mind mum hadn't been on a horse for over 50 years! You wouldn't believe she was a mad horsewoman in her day!
We cannot express our thanks and gratitude to both ladies...mum loved it so much...bringing back wonderful memories...she has booked again for another lesson.

Amazing family-run riding yard, a lovely friendly crowd and a friendly warm atmosphere where everybody makes you feel welcome. Wonderful instructors who help you build up your confidence. Highly recommended to all. P.S. And a great cafe with the most delicious breakfast!

My daughter has been having lessons here now for about 9 months - the instructors are fantastic without exception, friendly yard, good opportunities to further her knowledge with stable management experience. Wide variety of lessons - jumping, hacks etc. Looking forward to summer camp!

A friend of mine recommended this riding school for having great instructors and friendly horses and I’m so glad I attended. Having never ridden a horse properly before, I was very well looked after and made to feel at ease. I cannot recommend them enough!

Great place! Friendly staff and horses. My two year old has had a few 1:1 sessions and absolutely loves going on the horses! Highly recommend.
