Went for a birthday treat. Our room was up graded! Very big and a comfortable bed. Complimentary toiletries were lovely and facilities were fantastic. All the staff were very friendly but waitress Holly and chef Usef made our experience so special. Nothing too much trouble. Our evening meal was delicious, especially the sea bass. Worthy of a Michelin star! Usef also made a surprise desert for my birthday, such a kind thought and so special. Thank you! 🙂 ||Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. The staff were attentive and beautiful views on a snowy morning. ||We would highly recommend Kenwood Hall, spa and restaurant.

Had a spa day here recently and I just had to reach out to say how wonderful the staff here are!

I was greeted on the spa desk by Amber who was so smiley and cheerful. We were being those awkward customers who walk up on the day and ask if there was any treatments available last minute because we’d helpfully done zero prior planning for this. Amber was super helpful and said she could squeeze me in for a facial. I had said treatment later that day with Molly and honestly it was the best facial I’ve ever had! She was so friendly, smiley and makes you feel completely relaxed. The treatment involved a facial, Indian head massage plus a neck and shoulder massage. By the end of it I was so relaxed I was struggling not to fall asleep!

The spa room facilities were very clean, the products used didn’t set off my often sensitive skin and the music choice was super zen. The prices were very reasonable for treatments too.

Thanks so much to the ladies in the spa that were all so helpful and smiley, the best customer service you could ask for! Their efforts really make the spa feel like an inclusive, welcoming and relaxing space.

The hotel itself was not bad compared with other hotels we stayed overnight.
But the pizza I ordered in the associated restaurant was beneath contempt.
Although it's a nice restaurant and my wife's food was perfect. But the pizza was outrageous. Floury on the bottom, the crust didn't even rise and not even a hint of a crispy dough. I hooked the waiter, complained about the pizza, and asked him to send the cook to me. He left, came back, and said the cook is currently too busy to come.
And then I ask myself, "How can a cook be too busy when it's about a guest's complaint about the food the cook prepared?" 🤔
I just got a drink voucher as a compensation although I would have rather liked to talk with the cook about the muck prepared. But the person didn't turn up after I asked several times the waiter to make the cook coming here. Very bad attitude in my opinions.

Lovely staff, Nikki and team gave us a lovely warm welcome. The room was a great size and we appreciated the complementary drinks too. The grounds are beautiful and the location is great for access to Sheffield and The Peak District. We really enjoyed the spa, particularly the pool and treatment options. However last time we stayed it wasn’t dog friendly and we didn’t enjoy finding dogs in the spa reception area, hearing them bark outside our room and seeing a discarded used poo bag outside by the tables in front of the breakfast room. I appreciate the latter is an irresponsible owner, but it is precisely why we prefer staying at a hotel without pets. It’s a shame because we loved everything else about the hotel. I’m not sure if it wouid be possible to separate dog free areas? We had a lovely stay apart from that thank you

We’ve stayed here twice recently. Decor and furnishings are a bit worn and faded, but it’s clean and comfortable and the staff are lovely. Nicky on Reception welcomes guests with warmth and enthusiasm. Burger, chips and a pint at the bar were just what we needed after a long drive, and the staff there were great too.

Reception staff, particularly Lisa was very down to earth, friendly and helpful.
We upgraded our room and the room we were given was beautiful, like home from home. We had a balcony with seating and a lake view which this stay was too cold to sit out but definitely something to return in the warmer months for.
We had booked in for a treatment in the spa, back, neck and shoulder massage, so relaxing and the staff again were great, really chatty and made us feel chilled and well looked after.
Would highly recommend.

To be honest, the only amazing thing about this hotel is the view and the breakfast. The rest is not good, the room does not have air conditioning, minibar or coffee machine. The pool is small (but very warm) and the spa space is very small. On the website, the dog's stay is free, but I had to pay &15.00 for my dog's daily stay.

Came for a spa day, Phoebe greeted us at the spa reception she is so lovely and polite helped us in every way & my back massage will Molly as the best I’ve ever had , such a lovely lady and so talented. She was amazing, wish I could of had longer but they was fully booked, not surprised as she was brilliant -

Nicky on the main reception was lovely & friendly

Bar lady run of her feet she was also nice , sandwiches wasn’t nice and hard like they had been made early morning.

We paid for privileged room very dated but ok nothing to rave about.
