I recently used this post office for the first time. I won’t be back. The owner Caroline is rude to and about her customers, once they’ve left. I think, as has been said in the past, she resents pre-paid parcels being dropped off and delights in the fact that if those customers do not pay the drop off charge then their buyer will get charged a whole lot more. You would think, as a small business owner, she would be seeing the bigger picture because this sort of pre-paid business is only going to increase year on year. I could have been a very good and profitable repeat customer but my business will most certainly be going elsewhere, where the staff are friendly, polite and actually give the correct service to their customers!

Refuse to give me my parcel even though I handed my slip that got put through my letterbox and 2 forms of id as proof of identification the postman didn't write the address on the slip and they refused to give me my parcel.. I'm sure they think there a part of MI5 and go out of there way to make sure there jobs are extremely important.

Fantastic service thank you ! I’ve recently had to renew my driving licence and get my kids passports sorted. Service was fantastic start to finish, took the hassle out of the whole process, even with trying to get a picture of a wriggling 3 yr old. I cannot recommend the staff here enough, super speedy service and very knowledgeable, always very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for all your post office needs. Thank you all again.

Obstructive individuals who seem to rather enjoy making life difficult for customers - 'computer says no mentality' .

I visited today to post a international parcel and was told by the staff 'I'm unable to accept it as the date on the document states the 8th of February dispatch —a few days ago'. The document I printed from Parcel2go automatically included that date as that's when I purchased the postage. I was informed that the day you print the postage label is the day you have to drop it off (it was printed in the evening on the 8th so impossible to drop off anyway).
He then suggested to drive out of town to try my luck with Parcel Force direct - I didn't and took it to Radbrook Post Office who accepted it without issue.

I paid slightly extra to use Parcel Force and my local Post Office but with hindsight should have stuck with UPS or FedEx - one barcode scan and that would have been the end of it with them.

With 6000 Post Offices apparently facing the chop with more to follow, staff and obstructive service like this will hopefully be confined to history.

Visited today to renew my driving licence. Quick, efficient friendly service from a very knowledgable post mistress. All delivered with a smile and warm reception. So nice to receive such good customer service when so many people have forgotten what it is to give and too many people don't appreciate it when it is. Keep it up. Thank you
