This all access sunset tour was the highlight of our trip to Europe! Pat Shelley is an amazing guide. Wonderful... very clean and friendly environment... you can get right up close to the Stone henge and take in its glory on a hot summers day... there is also a visit centre where there is an exhibition on the past and future about Stong henge history and projects. Wonderful and easy to get to, I went with a tour guide so was an easy journey for me. A lovely gift shop at the end!

Truly Enjoyable & Informative!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Pat Shelley from Salisbury, through England’s pictorial countryside, culminating in the inner circle of Stonehenge at sunset. Pat’s engaging, friendly style made the day a most interesting, informative and memorable experience. We strongly recommend this tour to anybody who is able and would enjoy spending five hours walking through 5000 years of civilization.

The tour and Pat is great. Pat is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Though it was cold and wet , we had some breaks in the weather allowing good photos. I would highly recommend this tour it gives you a good understanding of the history of the area and what is known about genres, barrows and stone henge itself. "Ceremonial and ritual purposes "

This was the most amazing tour ever - and not just because our tour guide, Pat Shelley, helped my now fiance plan the perfect proposal! This is a very intimate tour with no more than 30 people. You get to walk through the fields and up towards Stonehenge for a magnificent reveal and then you get to actually venture into the inner circle. We went on Pat's sunset tour, which I highly recommend. Watching the sun set on the rocks is one of the most beautiful sights. Pat is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and funny and makes Stonehenge even more magnificent. Thank you for an unforgettable adventure and helping me say 'Yes' to my best friend!

We heard of Pat Shelley’s inner access tour on a blog ‘As the road forks’ a few years back. And had noted it straight away if we did some day visit Stonehenge. We were indeed delighted to have tied up with him. Pat was very prompt in replying to our messages for booking and queries on travelling from London to Salisbury for the tour. More importantly he gave us a deep insight ( with a dose of humour) into the history and background of Stonehenge, the woodhenge. The trip was very satisfying and enjoyable. Pat provided a commentary on the background of the region during the bus ride to the Henges and pointed key land marks, as well as gave a detailed explanation on the background of Henges in general which really helped us gain a better understanding of the context of Stonehenge.

What an amazing experience we had with Pat Shelley in the guided tour of stonehenge. We visited on 28th December 2017 for the sunrise and it was the most magical experience. So much information given to us by Pat about this interesting place and what happened there must recommend this to anyone who is curious about stonehenge no better way of learning than through Pat Shelley and his tour.
