Booked A1 travel to take myself and family to Manchester airport for an early morning flight. Paul was brilliant. Booking was easy and I was kept informed regarding pickup. Very smooth and safe journey going and coming back at a very reasonable price. Lovely friendly guy. I’m a very nervous traveler on motorways but on this occasion I felt quite relaxed and at ease. Coming home Sean picked us up and kept in touch as to where best to wait as the airport car park was manic. Again, we had a relaxed safe journey home. I will most defiantly be booking again with A1 travel when we go away again next summer. Thank you so much ?

Above and beyond.

We used A1 travel for our airport taxis from Wigan to Liverpool airports. They arrived on time, we had a nice chilled drive to the airport. The driver Ian was very polite and friendly throughout the journey. It was priced fairly (return journey) and we arrived on time with no hiccups.

Now for the return journey, we had our flights to Manchester cancelled last minute, this is where I think A1 went above and beyond. We were in contact throughout as the flight was initially delayed, Ian was very patient and accommodating and was prepared to be at the airport to collect us as whatever time the flight landed.

We ended up having to pay £££ for a hotel for the night and flights with a different airline the next morning.

A1 travel moved things around and were there to collect us at the airport the next evening, 24 hours later than planned, booked and paid for.

They were genuinely the most stress free part of our journey, I finally managed to relax once we were in the taxi on the way home after the cancellation. Ian sent me a map of where he'd pick us up (airports can be confusing) details of his vehicle so we could spot him and then arrived exactly when he said he would.

We'll definitely be using A1 Travel of Wigan again, it's so much less stress than parking, getting the train etc and now we know they are very reliable. Cannot fault them at all.

We had driver Paul, who both going to the airport and picking us up was excellent!

In returning home in the middle of the night/early morning, he even prepared us a little care package of water and a bit of milk to help us in the morning!

Couldn't ask for a better service and reasonably priced too!

Use this firm every year for our travels and wouldn't go anywhere else. Paul is a lovely fella. Prompt professional and well priced. Nice touch with the bottles of water and a pint of milk on the return journey. ?

Booked with no problem, arrived to take us to the airport early and good communication on our return home.
Even got us a bottle of milk and some water which is a nice touch. Would recommend and use again.

Fantastic taxi service to the airport. On time, great drivers even got us some milk so we could make a brew when we returned home from our holiday. Will be using A1 for all my airport runs in future.

Lovely service recently from A1 Travel, we were delayed on return flight and kept in contact with A1 who reassured us it’s no problem and they would be there. Were greeted with a pint of milk and a couple of bottles of water which was a nice touch, also both drivers very friendly. Already booked for next airport run.

We used A1 this week for our airport transfer and could not be happier with the service. Booking was easy through their website. They were fairly priced and Sean was brilliant. He was very helpful and directed us at the airport for drop off and pick up. We would highly recommend and will definitely be using A1 again next time.
