Just finished booking a short windsurfing trip away with Planet Travel - they have been awesome throughout the process. Matt helped me from the first call and has amazing knowledge of every venue and was really honest about the pros and cons of the various options (having experienced them himself). I was also a difficult customer as I was unclear on dates, then changed them and I was also very last minute and over a school half term... Not easy but Matt was totally unflustered and patient and walked through the booking all the way to a happy conclusion. I cannot recommend Planet Travel enough.

This is the second time I have used Planet Travel and for good reason, they are first rate. I booked a trip earlier this year to Dahkla and recently a trip to Bonaire. Matt is very knowledgeable about all of these sites having been there before and makes reliable recommendations on what to do, where to stay and when to go based on what fits your needs. Furthermore he was patient and understanding and happy to look into numerous options and scenarios to make sure I got what I was looking for. I will use them again.

Earlier this year I booked a diving trip for my son and me - our first diving holiday so I needed advice. I chose Planet Travel, having been aware of them for some time through friends who have booked kitesurfing holidays.
I had several calls with the team when booking the holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, they gave me many tailored recommendations, and were prepared to spend as much time as it took for me to take the right decision. It was very clear that the advice was honest and based on personal experience from having visited the resorts.
What's more, the support from the Planet team did not stop at booking. They helped with an issue at the resort (swiftly resolved) and even helped me to claim compensation for a delayed return flight.
The holiday was great success - one of the best ever - and was made so by Planet Travel.
As a result my wife and I have just chosen them for booking another holiday. The call was taken by Marcus on a work trip in Peru (I think he said) on Friday evening. We spent an hour discussing options, a quote came through within another hour and we booked the next day. Just fantastic service.

I contacted Planet Travel as was looking for a late booking to go to find winter sun and wind. I had a few ideas in mind and a budget. Matt Mockford picked up my enquiry called and emailed me and within 24hrs i gave me numerous choices. Matt was always happy to pick up a call and answer my questions. We have now booked a superb holiday to Mauritius which will suit myself and wife down to the ground. Great service and will definitely use again.

I don't normally bother leaving reviews but felt after our recent holiday to Mauritius, organised through Planet Travel I should.
We wanted a holiday where my wife could read a book and I could enjoy watersports, with this in mind they advised on the perfect place. Before speaking to them we spoke to the larger travel companies who had no real knowledge of the resorts other than what was printed in the brochure, Planet Travel not only knew the resorts but advised and booked all the hire equipment , hotel and transfers , it was pretty seamless. We did have a minor issue with the hotel which wasn't resolved when speaking to the reception staff so phoned the guys at Planet Travel (and got straight through) who had it sorted in the hour. Price wise they were actually a little cheaper the larger companies . We will 100% be booking with them again .

Visited La Tour d’Eole with my kite buddy in November, booked with Planet Travel. The resort is lovely, very relaxing and the food is exceptional. There was wind every day and the Ocean Academy is really well equipped with everything you might want to hire. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Planet Travel is a fantastic agent, everything is seamless. Matt and the team are great. They have visited these places themselves so they have all the inside knowledge to tailor your trip to what you are looking for. I've been booking with them for years and they've never failed to deliver!

I booked a last minute holiday for my daughter and her boyfriend aged 24 who wanted to crack kite surfing and wing foiling . Nothing was too much trouble and we spoke at length re destinations/durations etc . Quotes from Matt came through within half and hour and what a holiday they have had . From a meet and greet airside experience, 5* Steigenburger hotel, fabulous staff , food , and wonderful KBC instructors. Josh and Evie have had a ball , fitted in snorkelling on a private boat too. Everything organised so brilliantly and all arrangements on Planet Surf App so always with you. Start to finish , brilliant and efficient . Would use again in an instant

Ok - let’s start with the important questions:
1/ would I recommend Planet Kitesurf ? An overwhelming YES
2/ would I use them personally again ? YES - already thinking about next trip

The positives - great advice - they know the places so can really advise on location , accommodation , level, equipment - everything - very knowledgeable. Prices were also very reasonable. I will definitely be a returning customer. We were a family of three - mixed levels ( from beginner to advanced ) and went to Cap Verde in January and the Organization and holiday and kiting was excellent

So why not 5* ?
A couple of small things to improve :
- equipment insurance is available but wasn’t discussed / offered as an option - we learned the expensive way after damaging a board on the rocks that our rental didn’t include insurance . Will definitely request next time
- all the passengers on the plane had ‘e-Visas’ automatically booked by TUI - except us . Manual visa process worked but meant lots of queuing on arrival . This information and steps to take wasn’t obvious in the documentation given in advance .
- the organised return transfer which was booked took us to the airport 4 hours before take off ( it had the wrong flight time on the transfer slip ) - 2 or 3 would have been sufficient but since it was 4 we lost out on half day kiting .
- on advice from planet Kitesurf we opted for the upgraded rooms at extra cost. However only had hot water for half of the showers - fortunately the cold wasn’t too cold

So - overall - excellent - would highly recommend but this one didn’t quite merit the 5* rating - hopefully the next one will 🙂
