Vile, filth and dirt everywhere, unhelpful hosts.

Arrived at the property to find there was no electricity. Rang the number in the welcome pack and the person said they would get back to us within an hour, they didn't. Messaged the host via the airbnb app, no reply. Called their emergency contact number, no answer but back rang back within 10 minutes and gave vague instructions on to how to get the electricity back on, blaming the recent installation of a smart meter. I inquired why this hadn't been added to the welcome pack and they had no answer. They said they would call back to make sure everything was ok, but they didn't. Finally found electric meter hidden behind furniture (it's the white thing behind the black side table in the photo) and managed to get the electric on.

The apartment looked better without the electricity. There was dirt and grim everywhere. Stains on the chairs, ripped furniture, holes in walls, previously laundry left in the washing machine, spills down the front of the cooker, lip stick on mugs, dirt on glasses, the inclusive tea and coffee wasn't there, the coffee jar had some vile remnants of coffee in. Stains on carpets throughout the property, kitchen pans were dented, with one handle about to fall off and the nonstick damaged. There was a lid for a pan with no knob on it, but then it didn't fit any pan anyhow. There was no kitchen bin or bathroom bin. One of the benches at the table had damaged legs and wasn't safe to sit on and a headboard on one bed was broken. There was lighter left in one of the bedrooms and for some reason a crochet hook in the bathroom. There were no complimentary toiletries as shown in the photos.

The photos on Airbnb are wildly different actual property.
On a positive note, the view was great, the beds were actually very comfortable and the bed linen very nice!

My family and I enjoyed our stay with this spacious and very clean place. Host was very accommodating and given us some ideas of nearby places to go to for a quick walk and sightseeing. I definitely recommend this place. We will surely come back!
