Wow! My husband did his research to find a good value and he knocked it out of the park. I have never been to Europe and we booked the Europe Highlights Tour to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Our guide, Antonio Veiga made us feel safe, welcomed, and connected to our fellow travelers. He prepared us for each stop, answered all of our questions, and kept us laughing. Robbie, our driver did some impressive driving to keep us safe and was always reliable.
It was terrific to have no worries, learn about the local culture, and check off items we didn’t even know were on our bucket list! The coach was immaculate and well maintained. I was worried that we would be bored on the coach but we were so busy that we welcomed short naps in between history information and games in between frequent bathroom and snack stops.
We can’t wait to go again and we have recommended Expat to everyone.

We did the 12 day Italian Delights tour about 6 weeks ago and we loved it. Our tour leader, Kev went out of his way to make sure we had a great time and saw as much as possible in the time that we had. This tour was recommended to us by family members who did it a few years ago and we would recommend it to anyone looking to see as much of Italy as possible at a good value price point.

first time to travel around Europe and took the 22 days tour as per recommendations from my sisters who have had this company previously.
there are both positive and negative experiences while on the trip. for those who would want to get the best of the trip, please find time to read about every country that you will be going to - things to do, what to eat, and other important things of interest otherwise you’ll be just wasting your hard earned money and never get the chance to see the highlights of each places. please also consider the time of travel which means summer/winter/spring/fall as your experience would greatly be affected by season and weather.. some places I haven’t taken much photos because it was raining the entire time and the photos taken were nothing but sad looking, not worth posting.. the experience can also be dreadful if you go out in the pouring rain with fog and some water paddle on the streets and so on (please also be ready for the occasion - London weather can be unpredictable so better prepare an umbrella, water resistant jacket or raincoat, jacket / thermal depending on the season and weather, can’t blame anyone if it rains but at least be prepared as well as check the season you are booking to save you from all the stress and hassle of bringing so many things).please do bring your personal first aid kit and over the counter medications and vitamins.. in the recent trip, so many people was sick and more people get so sick along the way.. bus needs to be disinfected to be honest as those who are coughing initially lead to more incidents of passengers getting the condition and worst with the rotations of seats.. everyone just gets the chance to touch and be exposed of those body fluids / secretions that has the virus and all. I admire that a good number of people who had symptoms started to buy their own mask to save their seat mates from getting the virus. I didn’t get sick in the entire trip, I had my own personal regimen and have my own first aid kit and over the counter medications and vitamins on hand to boost immune system.this trip isn’t best for those with unmanaged health conditions or physical issues. waking up early morning and with lots of walking throughout the day aside from long hours of sitting (7 - 8 hours) although bus stops every two hours but not best for those with urinary incontinent or with weak bladder as the bus toilet isn’t advised for use UNLESS it’s emergency. Be prepared to have at least 100 euros budget for toilet alone - almost all toilets around Europe requires one to pay from 0.5 the cheapest to as high as 2 euros per entry, some accepts debit or credit card while others only accepts cash. Cash here means actual 1 or 2 euro coins. Food : all breakfast were covered in the trip while we had some inclusive dinners. options were also introduced for those interested to experience a certain country unfortunately there are a few optional food tour which I would NOT recommend as it isn’t what a tourist would like to experience.. for example, going to a European country and trying their dumpling. come on, I would say.. dumpling would be best experiences when traveling to china as they are famous in that country.. momo can be best experiences in Nepal as this is their version of dumpling.. and so on.. nothing wrong with having dumpling but I don’t thing it would be appropriate.. in addition, going to a fishing village and having pancakes for example.. I love pancakes but will never say no to pancakes but the highlight of that experience should be.. SEAFOODS as it is a fishing village, later on, I discovered that this particular village was famous for their smoked eel - well, I haven’t tried eel ever but it would be great if we were introduced that they were famous for that and maybe I would consider.Hotel: there were good hotels like b&b hotel chain who takes pride with their services offered and has descent sized room/ amenities. Others were dilapidated and too much stairs which are hard when having a huge luggage. I think the company can do better.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on our Europe taster tour. It was our first time and had a blast with our tour guide Carol and driver Florentine. Carol was really sweet and helped answer everyone's questions. She led a great, informative and breathtaking tour. Florentine was an expert on the road and kept us safe. We would be happy to join again and go on a different tour of Europe!

Our Irish Explore tour from June 9th to 15th was excellent! Our tour guide, Mike, and our driver, TJ, were both friendly and professional. The trip was well organized as we saw many highlights of Ireland. The optional excursions were great - diverse, interesting and fun. Although one passenger was having personal issues that affected others, Mike dealt with him in a firm but kind manner. He kept the trip atmosphere very positive by how he carefully handled this very rare situation. Thank you, Expat! The trip was amazing and I highly recommend travelling with your company. I will look forward to my next adventure with Expat!

Amazing holiday with Beautiful PEOPLE and an unforgettable experience!!!

I had the most exciting time of my life on the recent “Highlights of Spain & Portugal - 9 Days tour” . I have been traveling since the age of eighteen but mostly with my family and friends and this was my first solo trip on a coach, so was not sure what to expect and wow Expat Explore did not disappoint me at all. Saw some amazing places and we had a great mix of fellow travelers from different age groups from all around the world, which made the journey even more interesting!!! We were a fabulous diversity of the most-friendly people, and the enthusiasm was amazing with positive, upbeat vibes shared during the entire trip.

I made so many NEW FRIENDS who are now my FRIENDS FOR LIFE and I thoroughly enjoyed an amazing new experience with cherished memories.

Our Tour Leader DIARMAID Kiernan (DD in short) and SANTANA our Portuguese coach driver were top-notch and made this tour so much fun and enjoyable.

I honestly prayed that we would get a good Tour Leader, as we all know they can really make or break the tour and wow GOD heard my prayers in DD as he was EXPECTIONAL. He was a FANTASTIC TOUR LEADER and part of our fabulous experience. DD was BRIGHT and CHEERFUL from beginning to end, extremely INFORMATIVE, FUNNY, POWERFUL COMMUNICATOR, CONFIDENT, KIND, very FRIENDLY, GREAT LISTENER and from the start to the end he never disappointed us. An unbelievably knowledgeable and passionate person who LOVES his job to the core. The info he gave us before every new stop was extensive and informative. DD sense of humor and wit was a plus point and his passion for travel made the journey interesting, even to our daily morning song, that still brings back memories when I hear it!

I would love to take another tour with DD anytime soon and was hoping to join him for the upcoming Irish tour in mid-July 2023 but unfortunately there were no free slots available.

DD always went the EXTRA MILE for our group and ensured that everyone was always safe, was excellent in his commentary of the events and places and made each one of us feel welcomed throughout the tour. He made the additional effort to get to know each member personally on the tour and walked down to each of our seats daily, every morning in the bus, to see whether we had any concerns or needed help. He is OUTSTANDING, the reason this tour was a TOTAL SUCCESS, and I am BLESSED to have found a LIFELONG FRIEND in DD!

Santana our coach driver was excellent and skillful. He was able to get us through tight spots and navigate smoothly through the European narrow roads. He does an amazing job and is a total GENTLEMEN who was so helpful getting us safe and secure. He gave his best from loading bags and suitcases on and off the coach, always kept the bus clean and tidy, windows always clear for photo taking and getting us as close to our explorations spot as possible, all the trivial things that go unnoticed.

Both Diarmaid and Santana are a GREAT ASSET to Expat Explore and I would definitely look to book with Expat Explore again. THANK YOU Diarmaid Kiernan and Santana for making our tour an UNBELIEVABLE AMAZING EXPERIENCE and Beyond our Expectations!!!

Once I return to the Middle East, I cannot wait to share my experiences with all my friends and family and encourage them to book with Expat Explore. So Expat Explore watch out for new and more promising business from Middle East travelers ?.

To the whole team at Expat Explore, thank you for the BEST MEMORIES ever and most of all the NEW FRIENDSHIP this group formed like no other. Three cheers to you all for doing an AMAZING job and 5 STARS to DIARMAID KIERNAN, as he does not simply “know everything” but instead, he is WARM, ENGAGING and an EFFECTIVE STORYTELLER that knows how to CONNECT, BUILD RELATIONSHIPS, and engage with the group. He treated us like FAMILY; he went over and beyond to accommodate everyone. Request for DIARMAID KIERNAN on all your Expat Explore tours and you will NEVER be disappointed as he is an AMAZING PERSON with a KIND SOUL!
