Best holiday I’ve ever been on! It’s like going on a road trip with your mates. Everyone looked out for one another and it really did feel like a family. The surf lessons, the hikes, the meals together. I’ve never met so many people who I have just instantly got on with. The Solo team really did great! I can’t fault them for anything. Definitely will be back!

I recently went on the Solo Surf trip to the Azores, and it was amazing! Catherine and Simone were absolutely amazing—they poured so much energy into helping with our surf progression and making sure we were having the best time. They organised everything down to the last detail, including trips to a few beautiful hot springs, which made the experience even more special.

The group was really friendly and welcoming—it felt like a holiday with old friends, even though we’d only just met. There was a lot of surfing, with video analysis and surf theory that really helped build my confidence. The week was packed with activities, but we also had the freedom to take things at our own pace and explore the beautiful island.

The accommodation was perfect, and the catered meals were. I’m already tempted to book my next trip with them—it was that good! If you’re looking for a surf trip that’s equal parts adventure, learning, and great company, this one is a must!

This was already my second Solosurftrip, this time to the beautiful island Sao Miguel of the Azores. It is hard to put into words how incredible this week has been. Catharine and Simone are two of the most caring people I've ever met. You could feel their passion for what they are doing every minute of this trip. They have the gift to create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere so that our group instantly bonded.
Our journey was packed with adventures, fun, amazing people, lots of laughing and of course plenty surfing. Additionelly we got spoiled with delicious meals prepared by our awesome chef Morris. Regardless of it being your first time surfing or if you are an intermediate surfer, you will have the best time and make so much progress due to highly experienced surf instructors and very small groups.
I'm already looking forward to the next trip together with SOLO! Let's make memories!!!

Our surf instructors, Simone and Catharine, were nothing short of remarkable. The villa where we stayed was a cozy haven. The friendly staff created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making us feel right at home. And let’s not forget the meals—they were simply outstanding! From hearty breakfasts to delicious lunches and dinners, our taste buds were treated to a delightful culinary experience.

I had the most incredible Solosurftrip on Fuerteventura recently, and I can't recommend it enough. Staying in a beautiful villa, I was treated to delicious gluten-free meals prepared by our amazing chef Morris, who went above and beyond to cater to my dietary needs, even making gluten-free pancakes and arrancini. Simone and Catherine, the owners, were always there for us, sharing their surfing and travel experiences, making our adventure even more special.

What sets this experience apart is that it's not just a surf camp; it's a surf retreat. Simone and Catherine, both qualified surf instructors, not only provided all the necessary equipment but also arranged for a local coach to show us the best surf spots. We were 10 people in the water with three coaches. So we all improved pretty fast and by the last day even the beginners were able to paddle out to the Lineup and try to catch green Waves. Their calm and confident presence in the water was contagious, making us feel at ease and empowered.

The sense of community fostered by Simone and Catherine was remarkable. We quickly bonded as a surf crew, thanks to their inclusive and supportive approach. Beyond surfing, they organized a buggy trip through the desert, beach outings for relaxation and sunset watching, creating unforgettable memories for all of us.

 In addition there was a professional photographer with us, Ryan who captured all our greatest moments and gifted us with that the best memories.

Their deep and trusting friendship radiated to all participants, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. After just one day, we felt like a group of friends embarking on a journey together. I left Fuerteventura not only with improved surfing skills but also with cherished memories and newfound friendships, all thanks to Simone and Catherine's exceptional hospitality and expertise.

I had the absolute best time with SOLO. It was a sporty and adventurous week that exceeded all my expectations. As someone who had never surfed before, I was amazed at how much progress I made in just a few days.

Catherine is an absolute sweetheart. Her passion for surfing definitely shines through in her teaching. She patiently guided me through the learning process and helped me gain confidence and catch waves on my own.

Catherine and Simone are not only incredibly experienced surfers, but they are also super cool and chill people, spreading good vibes. The group of people I had the pleasure of meeting during my stay was fantastic. I can confidently say that I’ll be returning for more ✌️✌️

Solosurftrip is the upgrade of a Surfcamp, it’s a surf-crew. I joined fuerteventura trip and felt that all the people got close really fast, with the result of an amazing group.
Talking about technical things
- we were guided in the best surf spot of the island
- everyone had the chance to surf and to progress, beginner (first-timer) were already reading and surfing their own green wave after 5 lessons.
Intermediates were practicing turns to follow right or left-handed waves
- theory class to understand the forecast, wind, swell, priorities, currents etc.

Was with Solo surftrip in Morocco. A well-organized trip by people whose passion for surfing is infectious. If you look for a trip where you want to make progress (regardless of your level) but also relax in a great atmosphere, you should definitely go with SOLO.
I'm looking forward to a next trip together.
