These guys at Avonmouth were fantastic! Steve and Marie sorted out all the paperwork quickly and efficiently, the van was in fantastic condition (only 500miles on it!) and all the lads were friendly and helpful - couldn’t recommend them highly enough!! Thanks guys!

Shocking don’t use. Need to pay on credit card, or another £140, which you don’t get back.! Never use. Obnoxious staff! Saying everyone in uk has a credit card! Unhelpful and a total waste of time!!! Credit checks, absolute joke

I had a generally good experience with Days Rental recently. I hired a 7.5 tonne truck for 2 days. On arriving to collect there were 2 people in front of me but only one member of staff serving. As a result I waited nearly 45 minutes to get served.

I was given photos of existing damage to the truck (minor stuff) and was asked to sign. On starting the lorry there were a couple of warning lights on and I reported it to reception. They immediately got another lorry and prepared it, giving me £20 refund as an apology.

The lorry performed well for the entire 2 days and on returning it the reception staff were quick and helpful. They confirmed no new damage and I was on my way in 15 minutes. My £750 deposit was returned to my bank account within 2 days

If you need a truck for a few days then Days Rental is a good place to go, just be patient.

Van's are great, customer service not so. We have hired though days fairly regularly over the last 2 years. Multiple times upon returning the vehicles we've been charged for damages to the vehicles, which after what felt like pulling teeth for them to check their pictures from before, every time has been found that the damage was prior to our hire.
Edit: Hired again, as this is the only company we are currently allowed to hire through, once again, attempted to charge us for damage that wasn't us

Really rude people..... moaning about a "private" car park in front of their office, clearly NOT mark as "private" car park.....
For a vehicle rental company that doesn't know the road code..... would not use it for sure !!!
