We had the best experience here you could have. The host is really nice and, because we are Dutch, she got special breakfast we liked. The room is really clean, spacious and just a joy to be in. But don't stay in it your whole stay, the area you are in has loads to do. I recommend everyone staying here.

What a lovely couple of nights I had here with my husband. The scenery was amazing, the hotel is very nice and comfortable. The room was very spacious and had a lovely decoration, and the service provided by the owners was 5 stars! They were very welcoming and offered suggestions for places to visit and have a meal. They cook the most delicious breakfast and Teresa was very considerate with my food specifications, being 6 months pregnant and she cooked my eggs and sausage to meet my condition. Thank you for a lovely time!

We spent 2 nights at Old Forge Chapel whilst exploring the area. Such a comfotable room [and bed] with everything you need for a short stay. We watched deer grazing in the field from the French windows in the mornings. Very peaceful. Our host was on hand if needed but unintrusive. We would definitely return.

Just back from a wonderful 2 night stay at The Old Forge Chapel. Our lovely cosy room in the converted chapel was beautifully clean, with a bed that was so comfortable we could have stayed in it all day! Lots of thoughtful little touches like a Nespresso machine, straighteners and hairdryer. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk-so much nicer than UHT rubbish!|Breakfast was fabulous-freshly cooked to order. Teresa and David are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be returning!

We arrived to a beautiful sunset over the fields. Teresa greeted us and showed us into the room which was beautifully furnished and some lovely touches, lovely lamps and artwork on the walls. Tea, coffee, water, biscuits and milk in the little fridge. WiFi and large TV screen. Very comfy settee and bed. Everything was very clean and we had all the facilities we would need. The breakfast was also presented beautifully as with everything about the property. We were very impressed and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Don't usually write reviews but felt I needed to for this one. We had an amazing stay in the gorgeous converted chapel. Everything we needed was there including plenty of nice breakfast food and a mini fridge with full sized milk and orange juice. Hairdryer and straighteners even provided. Teresa was really lovely and had great honest advice about local places to visit and eat. Bed was really comfortable, and the room was warm and cozy. All for a really good price. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you!

We stayed for 2 nights at this lovely place. The room was very comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. It was like staying in a good hotel but with your own front door. So enjoyed seeing the deer in the feild beyond our garden.
