I had a terrible experience at the pool with one of the lifeguard Dom, he came at me very rought to escort me outside because my baby 6 months baby was only in water nappy and didn’t had a swimming costume. I was escorted out like I was the biggest criminal in the world and forced to buy a 15 pound bathing suit to get back in. Anyway, my mood was totally destroyed after the humiliations I went through. We were planning to take accommodation there for the whole family next year, but after the disappointing experience we went through, I will never go back there. The location is beautiful, it's a pity that the employees don't care about the customers.

Massive con, hardly anything included in the price, all activities on site are extra cost, not even any on-site parking have to pay for off-site parking and walk on, it's expensive entry and will cost at least an extra £100 when you are in!

Always an amazing experience. Shame the beach was one of those polluted by the water company. Hence why not many families in the water. Local food tasting and music events. Amazing pubs, games and so much fun. Worth taking the whole family out there to have a blast.

This review is for the entrance (or rather, the exit) only, not for the resort.
The gates are locked for exit at some time in the evening, no idea when. There is no mention of this when you arrive and collect your wristband in the morning.
So after a long, tiring, fun-filled and thoroughly enjoyable day visit you try to get to the day visitors car park and find this exit locked and unstaffed, with a sign saying to use the Wave entrance.
The Butlins app shows a quick walking route to the Wave entrance but following that route leads to a locked gate as well. So you have to take another, longer route to actually get out. Overall make you waste half an hour which a simple warning at arrival would've saved.

Stayed here for 5 days. Plenty to do with the family all our days were filled. The chalet we stayed in had everything we needed and was nice and clean. The only thing that bothered me was the beds had no mattress or pillow protectors but other than that very highly recommended. It was also very quiet considering the amount of children about. Plenty of places to eat out. Lots of shows and a great fairground. Very child friendly, I would certainly go again.

Cost £200 for 4 adults and 3 kids, but when we got there you have to pay for most things like crazy golf, climbing, go karts,was very disappointing only thing was swimming so thought it was an expensive day and won't be going back
