I have used ace taxis a lot and been ok, but, being charged £30 to get from Pagham to Chichester station was not ok. The taxi driver took us all round the top of chi adding on another 10-15 mins to a journey that wouldn’t take anymore than 10 mins. Would usually pay between £15-20.

Would never use again !

booked well in advance as needed a vehicle to accomate 4 adults, at least 2 cases and foldable wheelchair to go to southampton. going there was good, driver was helpful and friendly and checked the route for any likely holups. Coming back was a nightmare - we had already confirmed where from and given a mobile number in case of a problem. however when we were waiting no cab arrived so we rang to ask how long it was going to be to be told 5 mins. 10 mins later we rang again which was then 20 mins after the arranged collection time. eventually we located the driver who had been told he was collecting 1 lady only not 4 and he therefore came a smaller cab than was needed and he not been given the mobile contact numer only my home number where of course no one was answering the phone. 1 of our party and his case would not fit in the cab at all so he ended up using an alternative. will be very cautious and wary about using again. drvers are alright but office staff might sound friendly but not efficient

The are so bad the driver was very rude because was traffic and scream the didn't have a machine payment so I have to stay on the phone with them to pay horrible

I booked a taxi over 2 weeks prior to my booking which was confirmed at an agreed price for the pickup & drop-off point. However, on the day of the booking I was a Maid of Honour at a wedding, getting ready with the bride & I had a call saying that the agreed booking was no longer possible as they were changing the location the driver would be coming from & therefore over doubling the cost of the fare they had initially agreed. I explained this wasn’t acceptable as the price had already been confirmed but I was told that if I didn’t pay the charge over the phone (which before I was paying the driver) then NO DRIVER would take us home after the wedding. This became a very stressful situation, as the bride was ready to leave for the wedding & I was having to deal with this problem instead of being with her. I really should not have been put in this situation, especially at such last minute & was EXTREMELY unsatisfied by the stress this caused on such a special day. The wedding was located in a remote area with no access to a main road so was vital that we needed a taxi.

I would not recommend this company, as I feel it’s very unfair to threaten to cancel a booking made 2 weeks prior on the actual day of the booking. This was a mistake of the company not quoting the right price initially & should not result in the customer being threatened to not have a taxi to get home.

After reading several other online reviews I can see that this is a common issue with this company.

Absolutely atrocious service
Booked a series of taxi’s for Goodwood over 2 days - drop offs and pick ups.
Booked via their app and confirmed by phone.
Taxi never arrived day 1, called and they told me “looks like the computer has canx the booking”
“Why?”
“Don’t know…..”
Said they’d get a car out but it was going to be too late for us
Then canx the reinstated pickup later “we don’t pick up unless we’ve dropped off”
“But it’s your error why you’re not picking us up now and taking us, and we've had to find an alternative. We still have our return booked”
“Tough…… we're cancelling that as well and put the phone down”

Avoid, found a lovely local taxi co instead who was really helpful - Mi Cabbie

Probably the worst taxi service I’ve ever used. Taxi will come either half an early or half an hour late never on time ever.

Had to use ace a few times as limited taxi service in chichester and from my home to my work has always been between £24-28 but this morning charged me £40

Staff in the office when you call are extremely be rude and cancel your taxis last minute and give you no reason on why.

Do not recommend, use Uber instead

Love this company, been using them for 35 years. Our driver even dropped back my scarf, I left in his cab, the following day to me! Great service, great drivers, feel very safe and confident with them all ❤️

I'm glad I came across this business, I had to move a couple of stuff to the storage unit and no other company in Bognor would help me at all, except Ace Central. They were kind, understanding and quick. The driver was correct, professional and a good driver.
