We rented a large detached house in Chichester for a long weekend in June 2024.

House was beyond expectations

Amazing layout, spacious, well stocked kitchen spice Cupbd, and utensils

House was very clean, and modern

I’m an Architectural designer - so can appreciate a nice house when experiencing it over a few days.

House is very well located for visits to chichester, Arundel, Brighton, Wittering beaches etc

We love Channel View and been staying here every year for over 50 years my grand parents also stayed here when it was a railway carriage it has so many memories for us and at the same time has always been a comfortable and an amazing location to stay for sea lovers including all the lovely village shops just up the Road fresh fish, bakery, butchers Tescos and coop. My dogs love it too as they can run for miles on the beach !!

Beautiful house, lovely position close to the beach. Very comfortable too. Only slight grumble was that there are lots of marks on the carpets and pen marks on one of the bedroom carpets, which made us nervous as a £250 deposit was held against our card. Also, none of us had hand towels left. However, Gemma was excellent at dealing with our queries, replying to us very quickly and offering to bring towels to us the next day.

We stayed for 2 nights at Gray and Nats place and wow, what a place! The Granary is absolutely stunning. They have thought of everything. It is warm, cosy, romantic and everything we wanted and more. The hosts were friendly and available and gave us all the information we needed to make our stay perfect. The fact that Gray built the Granary is mind blowing. We do not have enough words to say how beautiful this place is. We did not want to leave and it set us up for a lovely Xmas. We would thoroughly recommend The Granary to anyone. It was clean and very welcoming after a wet and windy drive. It was easy to find and Gray was there to tell us everything we needed to know. Thankyou so much Gray and Nat!

Rented a property in October. Lovely property but we were accused of causing minor damage and charged. We did not cause this damage and they would not accept our word as honest. They wanted us to provide photo graphic evidence. So my advice to you to protect yourselves is to make sure you video or photograph the whole property in-detail as you leave, as the company will not accept anything less and you will be charged. They just took the money from my credit card. This experience has shocked me and sadden me and I do not wish someone else to have the same experience.

Excellent property / high standard. Booked very late on a Sunday - Barnaby and Alice were both extremely helpful late on a weekend. Owner very charming - he is developing the neighbouring property to the same excellent standard. Interestingly Google Maps still show the property and roads pre - development. The old store is no longer there.

Overall we enjoyed our holiday and the house and garden very much met our expectations in terms of space and facilities. We would be happy to book the property again subject to some improvements listed below.

However, apart from the electrical problems which you will be aware of, on arrival we found that the house had not been cleaned very well. We found sweet wrappers under one of the beds, general rubbish under the sofa in the extension and the worktops needed a clean!

I would also add that the TV/ BT box offered did not provide much choice. A TV offering a full Freeview choice of channels would have been preferable. Obviously a Sky box with some premium channels would have been even better after spending over £4000 for the week but perhaps that’s expecting too much.

Rented a property last weekend. We discovered bed bugs and a stained sheet in the bed. We left immediately and Airbnb refunded swiftly. Fresh Air had no interest in helping us find alternative accommodation or offering to cover the cost of a night in hotel. On arriving home we had to wash everything we took with us at high temperature (including the luggage) to ensure that we didn’t bring bed bugs into our house. A poor experience with zero interest or customer care from Fresh Air.
