Very nice trip on the Stour and under the buildings of Canterbury. You can choose between 30 and 60 minutes. Our punter (forgotten his name) had great stories and knew a lot about the city and it’s history. He is also a treasure hunter for Roman objects.

We got the only slot left at 4:15pm as someone didn’t turn up the last minute, the ticket guy gave my daughter a free entry which was even more great.

What a wonderful experience, we took the 50 min tour and had an amazing time.
We arrived at the location at 10am and could get in a boat immediately. We got a private tour for the two of us and Ally (or Allie) did a really great job.
Every member of the staff was very friendly.
There are more companies that offer boat trips but we really enjoyed Westgate punts.

Absolutely brilliantly day.. First time and my children have done something like this and we can't wait to go back.. staff was amazing and so friendly and the whole trip was just so relaxing even with 3 kids xx lots of beautiful dragonflies, the family of swans and the fish is a must see xx highly recommend 😘

We took the Old City, Countryside and gardens trip, and we absolutely loved the ride! It was the BEST hour of our trip to Canterbury! Michael was a wonderful punt operator and had all sorts of historical facts as well as a few tales. I can’t say enough good things about the people, the company, and the tour. Best decision made while visiting Canterbury. We were group of 3 traveling. Did bit of research while choosing Punts. Westgate covers the best area. We booked long nature trip. Worth the money. The guide was very friendly as well.
