Highclere is just outside of London 15mins off m40. Perfect base for our trips. Site was clean and well maintained. Good security with barrier and CCTV. Staff gave good advice of local area and were available when we needed them. Showers do cost 20p/50p. Good playarea and large field with football goals kept my kids busy when we chilled on site. We will visit again.

Good flat campsite. Field is flat, grassy and well drained. Lots of space for tents and even more space for the kids to play. Usually quiet. Decent, clean facilities. Poor campsite shop but there's a Co-op about a mile away and a good chippy nearby. Good pubs within a mile in both directions.

We stayed for 2 nights here in our motorhome with our 5 year old and have no faults at all. Greeted by friendly Alex. Level, clean, gravel pitch, clean toilets and showers and great park for the boy. Walking distance (about 20 mins) to a pub and the shop with a great fish and chip shop for the walk back. We drove the motorhome the short 40 mins distance into legoland and parked no problem. Great location for quick stop over for legoland.

What a great campsite. Lots of lovely clean showers ranging from 20p to 50p for a fairly long shower! Great park for kids and great big field in the middle of were the tents are pitched. Massive field behind park to let your dogs off safely. 10 min walk via the back fields to the local pub. At end of path turn right and right again and this brings you into the pub garden. We live 30mins away but felt like we were on a real holiday staying here. Black park 15 mins away, fab walk for dogs with a cafe and kids park. Also water for dogs to jump in. Next door to Go Ape!! ||Would come here again. Only complaint was a little over priced for a small tent for one night (£25).

It's an OK campsite. I definitely think it's way overpriced for what you get. I can't fault the kids playground or the actual with itself as it's well kept the toilets/shower facilities let it down. The toilets weren't clean. You had to pay 20p for a shower, which to be honest were rubbish. they got ridiculously hot to the point of burning . Thank God I didn't have my child in the shower with me.
All in all, we had a lovely time but I do think they need to drop the price or get the toilet/shower facilities better.

My second stay here with a group of friends. All facilities clean and well presented. Excellent weather meant the site was very busy. Very helpful staff juggled the pitches to keep our group close together. Relaxed, dog-friendly, good EHU. Will be back.

Stayed here several times we love it there so peaceful, clean and tidy. Alex is always friendly and helpful. Nice flat pitches clean toilets and showers, microwave and freezer on site as well as a laundry room and kids play area. Well situated for local village shopping.

An absolutely brilliant campsite.was very sad to leave here. Showers,toilets and all facilities are top notch!Alex the site manager is an absolute gentleman and nothing was too much for him,always willing to help and always with a smile on his face. I will 100% be returning to Highclere in the coming camping season! The site on a whole is a great place with a good friendly vibe
