I joined 4 agencies when I began supply teaching back in 2016. West Country is by far the best and the only one I stayed with till this year. They are professional, well organised and understand how supply teaching works having come from a teaching background themselves. However by far the best thing about them is their personal touch, sense of humour and kindness. Nothing is too difficult to sort for them. I have had the pleasure of 8 years (more or less) of working with them and cannot find fault. Even when a false accusation was made against me, they stood by me and provided all the necessary support I needed. I cannot rate them highly enough and in spite of leaving to become a gardener, I will remain in touch with them for a long time to come.

I joined WCEA in December, ready for a start in January this year. I like the familiarity of the staff as it is a smaller agency. The agency is keen to ensure you are offered work that suits you. Communication is clear. I have never had a day when I have been been available and not been working. I have been a supply teacher for West Country Educational Agency for several years and can not praise them highly enough. They have always looked after me so well, listening carefully to my requirements and placing me in some wonderful schools. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. I'm so sad to have to stop supply teaching but this is due to family illness. I will really miss the friendly chats and laughter with the ladies at West Country.

I would 100% recommend West Country! This time last year I was not sure I was cut out to be a teacher and the lovely ladies at West Country gave me a chance and I am now currently confidently applying for jobs.
