Words can not describe the pride i felt when my daughter first saw your horses and carriage to take her to the church. To say the least they certainly are the 'wow' factor. They were a total surprise for her and I for myself was open-mouthed to see how beautiful you all looked and the horses are something else. Carriages by Midnight supplied the horses and carriage for our wedding. We went to meet them before booking them and they were very helpful and introduced us to the horses, which was really good. We paid the deposit, got confirmation and everything seemed fine. A few weeks before the wedding we tried to contact them because we were expecting an invoice for final payment. We sent numerous emails and tried phoning. Eventually they did respond, but it was a worrying time whilst we couldn't get a response and I had even started phoning round other horse and carriage providers to see if they had any last minute availability. On the wedding day the horses looked gorgeous, but the route that was chosen for the carriage ride was not very appropriate in my opinion - we had asked for a half hour ride in the country and instead we went 10 minutes up a main round and then 10 minutes back down the same main road. They blamed roadworks for the choice of route, but there are so many roads and lanes in that area that I don't see how there wasn't an alternative route (away from the main road). It all seemed quite lazy. After the wedding we contacted them to see if we could come to their paddock and have a few photos taken with the horses. I would have understood them saying no to this request, but instead they just didn't respond. When my husband phoned they just brushed him off with statements like "we'll get back to you". In the end they responded several weeks after the initial request, by which time the fields were too muddy for photos. All in all I would say that the poor communication provided by Carriages by Midnight would stop me from recommending them to others. The horses are lovely and they really do look the part, but as a bride the last thing you want just before your wedding is a panic about whether your wedding transportation has cancelled on you. The poor choice of route for the carriage ride would also make me think twice before recommending them.

Carriages by Midnight were fantastic! I cannot recommend them enough. The horses and carriage looked amazing & Justin was so patient, despite us keeping them waiting for an extra 30 minutes. They made my daughter's wedding truly special. Thank you.
