We had a really good experience visiting this place. It is very recommended.
The parking is very close and a bit expensive.
The beach and cliffs are on a walking distance and worth to walk along all the paths.
There is a train to take you one mile and a half away towards the Avon Beach.

Very interesting but unfortunately I could walk around with my husband because of our little dog ..also not motorhome friendly with a height restriction barrier on carpark..Such a shame so much to see in the area as well ..So we couldn't stay as long as we would have liked to ..Could the barrier not to raised if pre booked maybe?

It was a superb walk along the Hengist point area. Visitors center was not open. But I can see it’s an interesting place trying to project life in the past. Settlement was found almost 1000 years ago.

A seemingly empty headland which is so historically important and provides nuggets to of the civilisation and from millennia before.

Nature and history in a blustery yet lovely afternoon

A cafe and visitors centre anchors the visit

A must visit if you are nearby and the sun is out
