So many birds in the reserve just watchingthem by the cafe. There was also fish in the water ,alot my friendsfush here.. It's a nice long walk and you can spend most of the day there. It's a 20 min walk to rspb lodmoor. Good to see they laid a new layer on the path, as it gets flooded and can't walk through.
Enjoyable walk around, peaceful and quite.

Entry was free. The thatched building has a cafe with a large window to view part of the lake and some outdoor seating. You have to be prepared for the fact that a lot of the area is covered in reeds which are necessary for the birds to nest and be safe. I saw ducks, carp, swans, sygnets, heron, swallows, marsh harrier. It's a lovely peaceful place to walk around. It's a five star space for the animals. The only downside for me was the fact that I could always hear the hum of traffic in the distance, hence 4 stars.

Wonderful nature reserve for birds, insects and small mammals. The trails are a great way to see ducks and swans further up the lake and you can get some lovely photos from the hide. The staff at the Radipole Lake Cafe are helpful and friendly. We'll worth a visit if you like a walk amount nature.

Great pictorial view of the Lake including seeing 2 Grey Herons plus a huge assortment of ducks, coots, morhens, gulls and geese.Cafè well used and information board and table much appreciated giving daily record of wildlife seen on reserve. Only downside was that the telescope freely used for the public was not easy to use and no instructions to help.

Superb place in the middle of the urban sprawl. You don't have to be a "Twitcher" to appreciate the wildlife. Don't forget to have tea and cake in the cafe. Dogs are welcome on leafs
