We booked a lodge which we thought it was going to be a relaxing break away |but how very wrong we were ! I had a strange comment from the stand in receptionist about what time we arrived even though it wasn't late !We were given the direction to where our lodge was but we found out that was marked wrong on the map so we couldn't the lodge ! It took us nearly 20 minutes to find the lodge. When we finally found the lodge, it was built on a very steep hill the turning point into the parking space outside the lodge was so tight you can only drive in but informed later that you are meant to reverse back down the hill when leaving! I think this method of driving is ridiculous and dangerous I am surprised that there haven't be an accident. After an eventful arrival and check in we decided to use the hot tub only find that there was scum lines which looked like fake tan on the inside of the tub you can actually see more scum collecting at the far end of the tub!! So I guess the tub have not been cleaned properly from the previous guests yuck !!|After seven nights here we were so glad to be going home and NO WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING !!

What a fabulous little place. Lodge was just what we needed, the swimming pool was great and the location spot on. Lesley in reception was as kind as you can get and the male lifeguard (sorry didn't get your name) was incredibly kind. Cannot rate the place any more highly. 10/10

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Lesley on reception, she gave us all the information we needed for our stay. The lodge we stayed in was Kingfisher 1, this is a stunning luxury lodge sited in an elevated position at Osmington Park, and from the decking area there are beautiful sea views. There lots of places to eat within a short drive, we also enjoyed Sunday lunch and an evening meal at the on site club house. Along with lots of beautiful places to visit this is an ideal base to explore Dorset.

Spent 4 nights here with my mother and grandmother. We wanted somewhere reasonably nice with a good location. We stayed in one of the older looking cabins because it was a little cheaper and it was really nice. It was better than initially expected. I am usually a bit of an accommodation snob, but because it was a last minute thing, we decided to watch the pennies, and I would 100% return without a second thought. The site was absolutely lovely! The clubhouse was great, they had a lovely outdoor swimming pool and it was a five minute walk to the sea. I couldn't ask for more.

The only negatives were that the welcome pack did not include any hand soap, the doubke matress was a little lumpy, and the checkout time was 9am, which is far too early, in my opinion.

Overall, still a 10 out of 10 for the price paid.

Amazing park, facilities and staff although slightly troubling that the checkout was a 930 am, especially since check in is as 4 and the park charges premium rates. Also our accommodation which was marked as sea view was more like a sea glimpse in the yonder and should not have been marketed that way.

This is our second stay at Osmington mills in recent years. The lodge was excellent. Well appointed, comfortable and spotless with parking right outside the lodge. The lodge park grounds were very well maintained and located in lovely surroundings. The ground maintenance and lodge staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Food wasn't being served in the evening but there is a cracking pub 10 minutes walk away on a safe road called The Smugglers Inn. Great food and drink and excellent staff. Great service.

Stayed here over the Easter weekend in Kingfisher 25 which was definitely one of the older lodges. Nonetheless, we (2 couples) had a wonderful weekend and it was the perfect base for us to be able to go cycling and hiking from. Loved the addition of a little welcome package and towels and they were very accomodating of late arrivals. Although heavily discounted (due to last minute booking) I think we would have been disappointed having paid full price in comparison to seeing other lodges and not being told in advance that some Facilities (i.e. The Pool) were closed and also, restaurant opening hours weren't obviously advertised. We visited the pub down the road The Smugglers though which was excellent. Would recommend for a long weekend away but beware the by 9:30am checkout which caught us off guard

The lodge we used was very clean and had all the modern conveniences advertised, I would recommend it to anyone.
The park was quite steep in places and people with mobility issues may not cope with such steep hills.
