We had a great time with Ruby at the Sidmouth Folk Festival. The photos show instructions being given to us before leaving, Ruby and awning at campsite, confident driver, Ruby's location taken from the other side of the valley, proof of her being at the festival.
Highly recommend Freebird Campers and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I purchased a voucher as a gift for my husband's birthday last year! Rob and Tammy are brilliant at communicating from start to finish and nothing is too much trouble. We finally got to take our first ever trip in a VW Camper when we took Campo away in May this year and it exceeded all of our expectations with the clear attention to detail that they have put in!
This is a small business that always puts the Customer first so you will never be disappointed.
We loved the fact that the vehicle provides all the modern needs of today whilst maintaining its Retro feel making it a very comfortable stay. We would not hesitate in recommending using Freebird campers - it was such an amazing experience.

From booking, collection, the holiday and drop off our experience with Freebird Campers was easy and a joy.
We hired Campo for a long weekend for both our birthdays and we instantly fell in love with him. Driving him was going back to the days of feeling the vehicle and listening to the engine which was an experience now that we have lost these pleasures with modern cars.
It took some time to get used to driving Campo, but once we knew how he liked to be driven it was fabulous.
The inside of Campo is beautiful, we could not fault it and everything we needed was made available. I was worried about sleeping but for the 3 nights we slept well.
If you want to experience something special and take a step back from the rush of daily life we would absolutely recommend hiring one of these campers.
We are already planning our next trip away and can't wait to be reunited with our handsome Campo 🙂

We had such a fun weekend with Ruby. Rob and Tammy have literally thought of everything to make hiring her an enjoyable experience. She is spotless and has been looked after immaculately. The bed is comfortable for 2 adults (we didn’t use the roof bed) and the sink, fridge and gas hob all work well. Everything is explained in writing before the pick up and again in detail on the handover. Rob is extremely knowledgable about his vans, therefore amazing at thoroughly explaining all you need to know. Be prepared to drive slowly up the hills and don’t rush anywhere, just enjoy it and you will love Ruby ❤️

This was a wonderful experience - all my vintage camper van wishes come true all at once. Monty was gorgeous, he turned heads wherever we went and we had to regretfully say he wasn't ours but on loan. Monty was so impeccably well maintained, both mechanically and internally, that we were able to have a first class break away without the worry that might come with a vintage vehicle. We would whole heartedly recommend a trip and would definitely do another on.

We have just returned from a holiday in one of Freebird Campers amazing camper vans. From the moment we booked, the owners, Rob and Tammy were organised and professional, talking us through the whole process. When we collected our chosen van, Rob and Tammy were extremely helpful. The campervans are beautiful. They are extremely well maintained and spotlessly clean. The equipment included covers everything you could need for your holiday. We had an amazing time and the opportunity to have a holiday in one of these classic vans was very special. We will definitely book with Freebird Campers again in the future.

I bought my husband a Freebird Campers voucher for a 4 day break hoping that it would finally lay his yearning for a camper van to rest. We had been away in a large camper van previously and it hadn't been a pleasant experience. So, feeling quietly confident, whilst knowing I was earning some good favour, we set off to collect Monty.

Rob and Tammy were very professional and efficient and showed us around Monty with pride explaining everything we needed to know.

We headed for a pre-booked site in Lydford, Dartmoor so we had plenty of time to get used to the van and settle down for the night. The van was very well equipped and had everything we could possibly need.

From previous experience, we didn't expect a good night's sleep....how wrong we were. The bed was easy to put up, a good size and very comfortable.

We continued our journey the next day heading to the Woolacombe area. We found a lovely site and Monty was the envy of all!

That evening we sat in Monty having a drink. My husband thanked me for such an amazing present and asked if I was enjoying myself. With my head in my hands I looked at him and said " I'm devastated! ........ I absolutely love it!"
We laughed so hard, my plan had backfired on a huge scale.

Thank you so much Rob, Tammy & Monty. We never thought it was possible to have such a wonderful holiday in the UK.

We can't praise or recommend Freebird Campers highly enough. Exceptional!
