Highly recommended for cakes and a bit of local flavour. Mudlarkers can find a nice collection of examples of Tweed treasures! (Pictured items are not on display there but personal finds found after being inspired by the Visitors Centre collection)

Lovely little museum but unfortunately not disabled friendly. There is a disabled toilet but you need to navigate steps to get to it. Great coffee and selection of cakes on offer. Can sit in or takeaway. Staff member very helpful and polite.

Five stars for the volunteers that run the place, for their enthusiasm and warmth. The exhibition about the Scots Borderers is interesting. The cafe is warm and cosy and the coffee and cakes smelt super.

What a find! Never seen this before despite several visits to Berwick-upon-Tweed. A bit of the trodden path, but worth a visit. Great miniature model of the town and a film showing the history of the area.
To top it off a nice little cafe with a selection of drinks and cakes with huge inviting sofas, just what was needed after a walk around.
Will definitely visit again.

What an undiscovered gem of a place.
Unique.
As soon as we walked in, we were made welcome, and the lady in charge couldn’t do enough to help us.
Not state of the art; like so much in Berwick the building is of an age, but brilliant staff, and well worth visiting.
