Where do I start about our stay in Crofters cabin;
1) The setting of the lodge was perfect, so relaxing, it was like a scene off a movie..
2) The location was perfect to visit all the nearby castles…
3) The lodge itself, all the finishing touches really made it a luxurious experience including the thoughtful pieces of food, herbal teas and coffee…
4) Jill and Neil the owners were so helpful and friendly…
5) proximity to a fantastic restaurant the Northumberland Arms where the staff were very friendly and welcoming, with top class food and ingredients…

Myself, Bruno and Craig will definitely be making this a regular stay!

We had such a wonderful stay. The Tree house is beautiful... As the guesr book says in numerous reviews... A magical space with great attention to detail.

You all simple must visit to experience Northumberland hospital laid on at its finest by Jill and her family.

Our break at Woodland Chase Glamping cabins was out of this world. We stayed in Saddlers Cabin and we were so impressed by the attention to detail. The cabin was immaculate throughout. Our wooden four poster bed was wrapped in Ivy and fairy lights, bliss. A wonderful luxury hamper had been left including fresh bread, Brownies,scones, Prosecco to name just some of the items. A s’mores kit had been left for us to make on the fire pit. The cabin had a lovely wood burner and a wood fired hot tub outside. We had private parking and two lovely rocking chairs on our front porch. The place was cosy and inviting. With the only outside noise the singing of birds. We stayed for three nights but were honestly sad to come home. I will miss the rain shower a lot as it was a great way to start the day. Jill, Neil and their wonderful dog were the perfect hosts and made our stay amazing.

We had the most amazing few days at Crofters Cabin. Jill (the owner) was super friendly and happy to answer our questions. Hot tub was perfect, took a couple hours to get going but enough logs are provided for the first night and available to buy at the top of the site, it stays hot for hours after. Our dog loved the enclosed garden. We went for some lovely walks at nearby Ladyburn Lake, Druridge Bay beach and even discovered a lovely forest walk at the nearby town, Swarland (parked at Nelson’s cafe). The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed and more! Only bad thing was having to leave

Had the most amazing weekend in Northumbria staying at the idyllic and beautiful treehouse at Woodland Chase Glamping. The treehouse is the most amazing place for a romantic weekend away with my partner, we had the most incredible time, Jill made us feel very welcome upon arrival and made our stay the best it could be, we loved the little touches within the treehouse and the addition of the picnic hamper, all items are purchased locally and tasted incredible.

The treehouse was of the upmost outstanding beauty and the surrounding settings felt you was isolated in your own private setting, it was so quiet. The style of the treehouse is done superbly and hot tub was a great way to relax, we loved using it and the fire pit for smore’s and a bbq.

We definitely will be staying here again and have recommended to a couple of friends and family already.

Thank you to Jill and Neil for making our weekend special and we will look forward to seeing you again.

We’ve just spent the most relaxing 3 days in The Fieldhouse and Spa. Amazing!
We alternated from spa, dunk bucket and wood fired hot tub. Ended our days around the fire pit. The addition of the s’mores kit was fab.
It has to be the most well equipped hut we’ve stayed in; various tea’s, coffee, treats - all local.
Would love to return.

Just back from a lovely few days in Crofters cabin. The garden is enclosed which was great for the dog, they provided a lovely hamper with baked goods from The Running Fox, the bed was very comfy, very clean. Providing supplies to make s’mores on the fire was a real treat!! The hottub was easy to get fired up and ideal after long days walking. The location is quite rural just off the A1 so no pathways for walking the dog nearby (that we know of) but the roads are very quiet so can walk the dog on the road. Very peaceful, idyllic location

Just spent 3 nights here and stayed in the beautiful Fieldhouse Spa.
Only one word to describe it...stunning.
The Lodge is beautiful and the attention to detail incredible, thanks to Jill and Neil. The downside is my wife is now spending a small fortune replacing all our bed linen to match.
We're certainly missing the log heated hot tub and sauna.
The location is excellent if you need a base to explore the beautiful Northumberland countryside. Returning to the Lodge to unwind and relax.
Looking forward to our next visit.
