A great location for either a nice walk around the lake or indeed a hop across a road onto the beach. Cafe and refreshments and amenities available at the centre. A enjoyable day out for all . The last time we were here 2020 our family dog enjoyed the walk. She was back in spirit today.

Very nice place. Stepping stones at the beginning of the lake are fun and visitors centre at other end provides food, coffee and toilets. Plus there is nice playground for children. Place is clean and well organised. From there there is just two minutes walk to the sea side. Car park is Pay and Display but you can use Pay by Phone App. Overall great place for dogs and children’s.

I started coming here with my dog, Jazz many years ago and although he is passed l still visit regularly. In the winter it blows away the cobwebs and in the summer it's paradise, l love the place.

A beautiful lakeside country park. Wide open spaces with walking trails and handily placed parking areas. Parking is cheap at £3 max for all day and first hour free. The visitor centre is clean and provides a good range of drinks, meals and snacks plus toilet facilities. There is a children's play area and green spaces for games and picnic tables are all over the site. All in all a great place for a family day out with the dog or just to exercise your pet.
