Keith was our tour guide and he was amazing! He's very informative, the stories he shared were rich and interesting, and he knew how to capture our attention. The whole tour was mesmerizing, what a wonderful way to see the Scottish Highlands and learn all about them. The tour was well planned, I highly recommend it 🙂

This was the experience and trip of a lifetime! It was my first trip using a scheduled tour. It’s always scary because it’s a lot of money up front but it was SO WORTH IT I can’t stress that enough. We did the 5 day tour!

Our tour guide was Euan Alexander. He was so knowledgeable in his storytelling and teaching but never shoved it down your throat, you know? He made us feel comfortable and it’s obvious how much he loves his country and its rich history.

The tour was magnificent and, again, so worth it. If you can do it, do it! We haven’t stopped talking about it and we got home months ago. The history is so rich, the people are SO kind, and the landscapes are breathtaking. Pictures don’t do it justice! We loved the tour and it’s definitely the best trip I’ve ever been on.

We had a fantastic 5 day tour with Euan Alexander! It was obvious he knew an amazing amount of Scottish history and was adept at telling great stories. He Incorporated his knowledge and love of music into the trip making our experience more personalized and fun. I would highly recommend him.

Our guide was a wonderful storyteller, rich with knowledge about the history of Scotland in general; and the many sights we saw outside of the city on our tour. The countryside is magnificent! Highly recommend!

Callen was our tour guide on the three day tour to Isle of Skye, very informative in a relaxed way and attentive to all the group.

We did a 5 day private tour, and we couldn’t have had a better experience! Our tour guide, Euan, was so knowledgeable and accommodating to our family, which included 6 children between the ages of 10 months and 14 years old. He was honest about what sites would require being on the road for long hours, or would include a lot of hiking and time spent on our feet, and gave us some other ideas that he felt would be more family-friendly. One of his ideas was going to a beach about 45 minutes outside of Inverness and having a picnic there. Everyone loved this, and he even had a soccer ball and frisbees for the kids to play with! On our 4th day, the constant traveling had gotten to us, and last minute we had asked Euan if we could switch up our plans and just do a half day of touring so that we could spend the afternoon in Portree. At the drop of a dime, he came up with a backup plan that had us all home by 1pm, and even suggested calling a hotel that overlooked Portree for us to have lunch together (which was spectacular!!). We could not recommend Heart of Scotland Tours enough, especially for families as it was extremely difficult finding a tour company willing to accommodate children! Thank you so much Nick and Euan for making our family vacation so memorable!
