Kelvinside is a lovely house in a great location.
It's well equipped, the garden is lovely and totally safe for dogs.
There's a good range of shops and restaurants close by, and the incredible beaches are easy to get to.
Seahouses is a lovely little place, and Bamburgh is only a few minutes drive away.
Richard is a wonderful host, always on hand for information and advice.

We had a wonderful stay at Richards house, Kelvinside in Seahouses. Firstly Richard was great with coms and very accommodating.

The house itself was excellent. Spotlessly clean and roomy for our party of 5. It is well stocked with some lovely touches and the heating was simple to use. It was a home from home. We used the garden every day. Having 2 toilets saved a lot of hassle and the shower was excellent. You are 2 minutes from the centre of Seahouses and the harbour and having off street parking was a bonus.

Really comfortable beds after a day at the beach was the icing on the cake.

We have just come back from a week at Kelvinside and have had a lovely time. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything you could possibly need. The garden was fully enclosed at the back, so great for children and dogs and it got the sun all day. Kelvinside was perfectly placed in Seahouses, just a few minutes walk one way to the south beach and a few minutes the other into town. Richard was a great host, keeping us informed of everything without being intrusive. All in all, a perfect holiday.

Spent 4nights at Kelvinside last week and had a very enjoyable time. The house was clean warm and welcoming with everything we needed. Great location and nice to be able to walk to get food in the evening.
Safe garden for the dogs and adequate space for parking.

We have had several holiday homes in Seahouses but without a doubt, this has to be the best. Felt very homely full of character and past treasures which added to its charm. Sunny enclosed garden was fantastic for relaxing in after a day trip or big walk. Location is perfect with everything on your doorstep. Richard was so helpful with local knowledge and suggestions - we will definitely be back. Many thanks Richard.

Stayed at Kelvinside 11-15 September 2021, just me and my 2 Shih Tzu dogs.
It is a beautiful, clean well kept & fully equipped home with plenty of space for a family of 6. The large fully enclosed back garden is wonderful and gets the sun all day, perfect for a morning coffee on the patio or relaxing at the end of the day out exploring the beautiful coast.
Kelvinside is in a superb location, a few minutes walk from Seahouses main Street with shops, restaurants, takeaways, and the beaches are within walking distance if you do not want to use your car much or for walking the dogs.
I am no stranger to Seahouses & Beadnell, been going there since 1970's as a child, my father loved his diving, and more recently in the last 10 years on my own with my dogs, going abroad has lost its appeal.
I haven't had a holiday since March 2019, stayed at Beadnell Point, so Kelvinside was a treat, by far the best holiday home I have stayed in. It has that nice homely feel to it and I highly recommend a stay there. I will be returning at some stage in the future. The owner, Richard is very helpful and there for any queries you have.

Had a fantastic week staying at Kelvinside. Conveniently located close to the centre of Seahouses, it is a home from home. Very clean and well equipped, has everything you need. Lovely big garden, comfortable beds, great communication from the owner. Highly recommended.

Just back from spending a week at Kelvinside - 6 adults and a baby. What a lovely warm comfortable house, exceptionally well equipped with everything you need. It is extremely central with great parking , only seconds from harbour, shops, beaches, restaurants, golf course etc. The large south facing garden is fully enclosed with a super terrace for meals or drinks al fresco. Richard is a 5star host - quick responses to any query or recommendation needed both pre and post arrival. Kelvinside is a true home-from-home and definitely a place for us to visit again!
