Me and my partner had a great day touring with Stewart! We visited many towns in the Scottish Borders, and learned so many things about the local history & industries. I'm very interested in textiles & artisan foods, and Stewart made the effort to include all of this in our haf day tour.

We visited a lovely cafe, and a gin shop in Selkirk, went to a working tweed mill in Hawick, had a great lunch in Jedburgh, and finished off in Melrose, where we visited many little shops and a chocolatier.

Such a fantastic day out, Stewart has so many stories about the local area and is a very attentive guide. Thanks again, we had a great time! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wow, Stewart not only knows his stuff but his passion and the way he explains his knowledge gave me and my wife a fantastic experience earlier this year.
It's a must do to make the most of your trip to Scotland The Scottish Borders is special place to visit all year round and a hidden gem of a place to visit, most tourists head North and miss this area.
The landscape and history is awe-inspiring.
It was very apparent that Stewart also takes alot of extra time to research the finer details which make such an interesting experience even better, it opens your mind to the fantastic history in this area with so much heritage and when combined with the landscape you can picture the past in your mind.
I thought I knew a bit of the history but Stewarts research and knowledge added to the experience and enhanced it yet more.
We just love Scotland and its landscapes , we highly recommend TVB tours. The Tweed Valley is a fantastic place to visit.

A fantastic tour guide with extensive knowledge and passion for sharing the rich history of the Scottish Borders and beyond. Stewart's blog is also a wonderful source of information for anyone looking to visit the area. A highly recommended experience covering a huge range of interests from ancient history, natural history, folklore, culture, art.......... A great guide with a rather fine sense of humor to match.

I took my fiancé for a half day borders tour with Stewart. I am from Edinburgh, she is from Finland, and we have settled in Midlothian.

Keen to learn more about the local area and history we booked a half day borders tour and it didn't disappoint.

We were met at Galashiels train station and saw the town before moving on to Selkirk, Hawick, Jedburgh and Melrose.

Stewart knows the area so well he was able to tweak the tour on the spot after a conversation about his tweed jacket led to him learning about Maija's hobby and interest in textiles and crafts. We saw where local tweed is made and Maija was able to buy some for a crafts project. We also tasted and bought some Selkirk gin, bought local hand made chocolates from Melrose, and went out for a soup and sandwich lunch.

Stewart's knowledge of the local area was very impressive, and his enthusiasm made us want to explore every nook and cranny of Midlothian and The Borders.

This is well worth it for anyone who wants to learn about the borders, there is so much to see and having a guide who can talk through the details of the architecture and local history made the trip a lot more interesting compared to if we had done it alone.

Thanks again Stewart, until next time!
