The harbour has a nice calming effect, just watching the waves.
Has shops,restaurants & toilets.
Seeing the beach, Disabled people wouldn't be able to get down to the beach as steep stairs.
It was nice on the marina.
The harbour car park is £1 an hr.
Fishing is allowed, but it needs to be registered with the seaham sea angling club.

A pleasant place to enjoy a drink and bite to it whilst enjoying the sea air. A small sandy beach is great for the kids, plenty of on street car parking nearby which is only £3 for the whole day.

Fabulous little marina with some greats cafes and shops. Seaham Slope next door to the marina is a wonderful beach which is perfect for our cold water dips. Stunningly beautiful early on a morning and there’s a fantastic swimming community down there.

Visited today for the first time, and it was stunningly beautiful.
If you visit Seaham, this is a must visit and see, especially if you want to grab a bite to eat away from the main strip.

There's lots of little bars and cafes that are hidden away all of which are reasonably priced and aren't busy. There's sufficient parking down the harbour too. There's toilet facilities there, and I would say is worth visiting any time of year due to how beautiful it is.

Travelled up to Seaham on a very wet and cloudy Tuesday. Lovely small town that looks to be getting a bit of investment and development. The port is very small and so is the marina. There is a tremendous statue on the front, a giant Tommy. Entitled 1101 to commemorate the first minute of the armistice.
Being at the seaside it's the law to eat fish and chips with ice cream for afters. Plenty of both to choose from
