Our group of 14 had an amazing day at the West Midlands Safari Park, travelling in three vehicles. We spent a couple of hours driving through the safari park, where the animals came right up to our cars, some even poking their heads inside for a snack. It was a stunning experience to see these exotic creatures up close, offering us a unique glimpse into the animal kingdom.

Beyond the safari itself, the park offers a variety of attractions, including food stalls, rides for the children, several exciting trails, and a sea lion show that was absolutely stunning and mesmerising. We visited on a Saturday in September, towards the end of the summer period. Although it was predictably busy, the crowds did nothing to detract from our wonderful day out.

The tickets were reasonably priced, making this experience both accessible and unforgettable. For anyone considering a visit, it's a must. This was probably the best safari experience I've had in the UK, and I highly recommend it.

Additionally, the safari park offers cabins and lodges for hire right in the heart of the park, providing an opportunity to spend a night next to the animals. I can only imagine how thrilling this would be!

All in all, our visit to the West Midlands Safari Park was a stunning experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable adventure.

I recently came here with family, and honestly? It was a great time.

We visited on a Friday and booked our safari for midday. We arrived and parked up, and went through. We had already bought our tickets online so was an easy bar code scan and into the park.

The animals, as always, were great to see and we got very lucky to see the tigers playing around with each other! The ground was flat and very easy to walk (minus the hill by the rides) so was good for all parties. The dinosaurs and the ice age creatures with the models are very informative and are just great fun overall.

The safari itself was good, but my only criticism is that there were traffic jams where nothing was happening and you were just sat there for 15 to 20 minutes, or longer, because of the gate systems. The actual safari however, was very fun. There was a wide range of animals, but as always, there are animals that hide and don't show face.

Overall, an enjoyable day with some delays due to the gate system, but was enjoyable. A very good day out.

We have visited here a few times, certainly changed since we last went. I’ve never seen so many cars going through the safari park. We waited around half an hour to get through check in. There were about four lanes of traffic could have been more. We bought a guide booklet as we were waiting. Beautiful day beautiful scenery and animals. Staff in jeeps were doing their best to keep some of the curious animals away from cars, there was no stopping in right hand lane, people ignored this rule. We bought food for the animals, we could feed giraffes last time but not this time, I was a little disappointed as they’re my favourite. People ignored signs regarding not feeding certain animals. We had a brilliant day. We weren’t sure if we had to pay again to go around the other area with the reptiles in so we just visited the souvenir shop. Some hills are super steep so be aware with scooters and wheelchairs. Five star ratings definitely. The drive around took us about 2 and a half hours.

Amazing place! Had the pleasure at staying in an elephant lodge with "Five" being the elephant. Amazing dinner and breakfast, hospitality second to none throughout the park. Got to meet all the animals on the drive round safari as well as inside the park. Such an amazing experience will definitely be booking again.

Amazing place for a day out whether that be with friends family or a date!! We have been a number of times from when I was a child and still go there now often.

There are many food places, snacks bars and shops! There's plenty to do including a theme park, with a wide range of different activities like small fun fayre games, roller coasters and arcade and more.

The park is great to drive around. You can also go to the viewing points for the giraffes and elephants after you have driven around. This can be accessed through the main grounds near the theme park and extra animal reserves.

Amazing visit. Definitely worth the money.

The place overall was friendly and staff was amazing. The traffic for the drive through was long to say the least but the interaction with animals was amazing. I do wish the variety of food was a little better. And also the rides do need to be redone. As they looked like they were falling apart. But we have our return ticket so definitely coming back

Lovely experience. It was a rich experience for the children. Feeding the animals from the car was a plus. The lion enclave was nice to see. It was nice to have our own mini lion king theatrical singing in the car when we saw the head of the lion. Overall, it was a nice experience. The drive-through took about 2 hours, so pack some snacks and wipes in the car so everyone can wipe their hands clean after feeding the animals at the start of the ride. Rated 4 because the things to eat are too pricey.

We stayed in the Elephant Lodge. Very clean and an excellent experience with elephant across our lodge. A fantastic safari drive around with animals in close proximity. Walked after closure giving us freedom to explore further. The only down side was the food did not meet our expectations especially taking into account the cost of £1,200 per night to stay in the lodge. Freshly baked bread was wonderful.
